The dinner and dance tent for A+R's wedding was set back on the far side of the lawn, allowing us to build a custom wood deck in front of the tent for cocktail hour. The space then became an extension of the tent during the dance portion of the evening as guests could easily move in and out to enjoy music and/or the cooler night air.

I loved working with Carey from on this wonderful es**rt card display. She is truly one of the most creative individuals I've been blessed to work with. As with all our weddings where we are inspired by the uniqueness of each of our couples, the symbolism runs deep with this one.

From the beginning stages of design and planning, the lotus flower held significant meaning and became a central motif for us - from the incredible invitation design to the hand stamped "sails" overhead guests at the Indian wedding ceremony to the exquisite dinner menus at Saturday’s reception.

For our bride, the lotus represents the beauty that emerges from struggle. Just like the lotus which begins its arduous journey from the depths of dark muddy waters to emerge in all its stunning beauty, so, too, do the very best of relationships. For those of us who truly love 'love', there couldn't be any more beautiful sentiment.

And, for the final touch what better way to display lily es**rt cards than on a sea of custom aqua blue silk linen?! Swipe for all the glorious detail.

I could not be any more excited to see A+R's exquisite multi-day wedding in The Knot National 25th Anniversary issue available on newsstands today! Such a stunning weekend of wedding celebrations captured to perfection by Heather Waraksa] and on video by Caleb Jordan Lee]. It was such a joy to deisgn and plan this India meets California wedding, an ethereal mix of peach, dusty rose and aqua tones inspired by the famous Caffé Palladio in Jaipur, India.

This stunning suite incorporated a linen backed folio style invitation, handmade paper, blind debossing and letterpress all tied up with a silk tassel inviting guests to an intimate European inspired black tie soiree. Fall color inspiration can come in all shades - not always the most expected. This is one of my favorite combinations: chartreuse, sage and honeydew beautifully complement orange, peach, butter and ivory. Blue cools an otherwise warm palette. Switch it out for a barley-toned napkin or go bold with ink or dark green for something more sultry. What color mood does fall put you in?
