We did this hike again, this time no rain. This is probably one of the hardest hikes I’ve done and my legs are feeling it. 8.8 miles this time, we didn’t get lost and shaved a little bit off the end. Such a gorgeous day & hike!

Hiking Borrego Canyon to Billy Goat loop trail today. Starting at Whiting Ranch entrance near Ralph’s at 11:30AM. Nice moderate trail.

Great day for a hike! The blue skies gave way for a bit of rain at just the right time. Visibility was tough from the peak due to weather, but still worth the 9.5 miles!

Black Star Canyon Trail, a lesser known hiking trail in Orange County of Southern California, is a fun hike to Black Star Canyon Falls. The trail can be accessed off of Highway 241 at Santiago Canyon and after a few miles you will turn left onto Silvarado Canyon and then left onto Black Star Canyon....
