What’s the #1 thing that matters most in your photography studio? If you’re like us, you said GORGEOUS LIGHT! Well, lucky for Rapid City, The Loft Studio + Space has stunning natural light. The tree farm holiday set is available through December 1. We’ve had a few questions, so here’s the scoop:

Q: Can we still use the studio for regular shoots?
A: Yes, the tree farm is set up in the south half of the studio, and the north half is still available for regular sessions.

Q: Can we move the trees?
A: We are keeping the trees happy with lots of water, so please keep the trees where they are. We've placed them so you can shoot from various spots depending on how you like your natural light. We’d also like to make sure every photographer using the studio gets to use the set as it was created.

Q: Can I put the white wall behind the trees?
A: Please do not move the white wall to the tree side of the studio — it pulls down the lights. (Trust us — we tried.)

Q: We love the live trees! Is it possible to buy one?
A: Yes, trees will be available for pickup on December 1. If you’d like to purchase one, please send us a DM and we’ll make arrangements for payment. 100% of sales benefit the Club for Boys.

Three tips for creating compelling content:
1. Keep your message on brand.
2. Know who your target audience is, and make sure your content speaks to your ideal client.
3. Consistency matters. A consistent visual brand helps your audience recognize you before they read a word you say.
4. Batch your content creation. Plan to shoot enough content for several weeks or months in just one day.
5. Create with a friend! Split a studio rental with other business owners or content creators and take turns shooting / filming. Bonus points if it’s a natural light photo studio — makes your job so much easier! (Hey, we might know a place....) 🤔
