Glad to be part of this event again! 💙
Wanted to extend another massive thank you to everyone who helped make our 4th Cars and Candy event such a massive success. We had more cars than ever display, more kids than ever, and were able to make our largest donation yet to our local non profit Black Hills Badges For Hope!
A massive thank you to all of our businesses and individuals who helped us raise 113,000 pieces of candy, special shoutouts to our top 5: Essential Auto (also a '24 season sponsor), Black Hills Caregiving, Brandi and TJ Martin (CNCBH Crew members), Western States Fire Protection, and Auto Body Specialties of Rapid City.
Thank you to Courtesy Subaru and Mike's Paint & Body being our candy drop points, we know massive piles of candy can be inconvenient, but we appreciate you helping us.
Rapid City Police Department was in attendance handing out stickers and candy in support of our event. Rapid City Parks & Recreation, Lindsey we appreciate all of your help getting apps and everything figured out.
Playmakers Sports Cards, Memorabilia & Gaming in the mall for giving us Pokemon cards and stickers/books. They were an absolute hit this year. The amount of excited screaming when kiddos realized they were getting Pokemon cards was a incredible. Thank you so much for supporting us the last couple of years.
Ziggi's Coffee in Rapid City for donating Hot Chocolate and Coffee this year. Thank you so much Jason for always offering whatever we need. We appreciate you and your crew, and look forward to coming back next year.
An often overlooked aspect of an event like this are commodes, luckily last year we got hooked up with A Royal Flush Portables thank you so much for donating to our event, and taking such pride in what you do. Top not service, thank you.
and finally to our CNCBH Crew.... I think people are often shocked when they realize we put on an event this size with about 12 people. We refine every year, and this one is no exception. All of you are always looking for ways to make this event more fun for kids, more efficient for cars, and safe for everyone. Thank you so much! Also, Heidi and Melissa thank you for the last minute help with the tent, we appreciate the heck out of both of you.
