**PRESS RELEASE** Monday, December 30:

During Sunday night’s performance, a bull riding contestant was injured during his ride. Our Justin Sports Medicine crew and local EMTs immediately evaluated him, and he was awake when transported to a local hospital. As of Monday morning, the contestant has been cleared by the hospital and will be re-evaluated tonight, before the performance.

We are thankful to have the Justine Sports Medicine Team on-site to provide comprehensive medical coverage to each professional rodeo contestant.

Ba****ck, Barrels, Bulls, Broncs, and Timed-Events including Women’s Breakaway Roping all start on Dec. 29th at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6.

Contestants are gearing up as ProRodeo gets ready to come to Red Bluff! Join us for the 2024 Ram California Finals Rodeo this December 29, 30, & 31 at the Tehama District Fairgrounds! The rodeo, rain or shine, is held indoors inside the Pauline Davis Pavilion. You can expect all your normal rodeo events as the best California PRCA Cowboys, WPRA Barrel Racers and Breakaway Ropers will be vying for year-end winnings. It's the Golden State’s finest professional rodeo livestock, riders, wrestlers, and ropers alike. The CA Rodeo Finals play out over three performances on December 29, 30, and 31 (New Year's Eve), each starting at 7:30 p.m. Year-end titles for your California Champions will be decided during the last night of the rodeo, followed by a N.Y.E. party and dance with live music from Lance Michael Cornwell. Celebrating our Golden Cowboys & Cowgirls this month as September is designated to Childhood Cancer Awareness. The Red Bluff Round-Up partners with several rodeos to give battling pediatric cancer a once in a lifetime type experience in Las Vegas during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. It’s called the Golden Circle of Champions, and if you haven’t heard of it, we encourage you to look at what they do and find out how you or your rodeo association can get involved. RBRU Director Gary Ramos and his wife Liz have been a huge part of making it happen for us. They sponsor a child every year.
