Well it is now official, Red Bluff Round-Up has been verified as the winner of the 2023 California Finals Rodeo Team Challenge. This year eight Committees participated in the challenge and here are the official results for all of the teams.

After trailing by 1993 points after the 2nd Perf, the local cowboy and cowgirl, RC Landingham and Miley Bravos pulled out the victory combining for over 2300 points for the final perf. With the help of JC Mortensen and Lefty Holman, Red Bluff Round-Up accumulated a total of 7672 points to 2nd place San Bernardino Sheriff's Rodeo final night score of 4987 to take the win by a mere 692 points. The Red Bluff Round-Up will receive a $5,000 certificate to purchase a new Black Widow Arena Groomer.

The rain clearing out makes a beautiful day in Red Bluff and a nice time to check on our livestock. Bronc Boehnlein and Joshua Reed are not only our California Finals Rodeo Pick-Up Men but also travel with the animals performing in the rough stock events.
They feed them, care for them, and make sure they are in top-notch shape. These Flying U Rodeo horses love what they do just as much as the cowboys. It sure shows.

Bareback riders were not only in blue tonight for Trenten Montero, but some in gold for kids fighting cancer. Mason Clements spent his day donating his time with the Golden Circle of Champions. He then went on to take the No. 1 spot in Round 3 with an 88.5 ride on Frontier Rodeo Companyโs โBreaking News.โ His golden Warbonnet hat helped raise $70,000 during the live auction at the Golden Luncheon. It was donated to Masonโs Golden Champion, Miss Kaylee, once the rodeo was over.
