Let’s talk about lighting… 💡

On your wedding day, keep in mind the importance of well-lit areas for you and your bridal party to get ready in! Why? A well balanced room with natural rays will ensure for precise color matching for foundation!

Foundation is one of the key components to your makeup. We (as an artist) WANT nothing more than for you to love your makeup. We want to ensure you won’t have any lines of demarcation, oxidation, or patchiness!

Your artist SHOULD be able to choose a proper location, but to make it slightly easier, it’s helpful if you or your MOH have this vision in your thoughts. And PLEASE keep in mind, a bathroom- is generally not a great spot-unless it has large sun-facing windows. Some artists have artificial lighting, others do not. Some of my light eye-colored babes have a hard time with this light in there eyes for an extended period of time so, the God-given golden beams are also the golden ticket to color perfection!

Not to mention, most of your photographers you’ve hired, they LOVE all the light! Editing can go very far… but… it makes their job a tad easier if they don’t have to add sunlight, ya know?!
