So when I say I wanna be friends with you during your wedding planning process and forever after that… I FREAKING MEAN IT!!!! ⁣
And this girl right here was like… “okay, you got it!” ⁣
We talked every other day leading up to her wedding - sometimes not even about the wedding. ⁣
Now almost a year later (we’re a few weeks shy) she still talks to me, she sends me reels, I send her Xmas cards (even thought this years made its way around LA, and back to me for some reason) ⁣
I gotta watch whatever episode of the a TV show she is on - even if I’ve never seen the show, I just wanna see what she’s in. And yeah I have no idea what’s going on, but I gotta support her! ⁣

This picture shows it all. The triumph that this couple had to endure during their planning process. ⁣
A pandemic.⁣
Not 1 BUT 2 venues canceled on them due to new restriction the counties have placed.⁣
A Wildfire.⁣
A Hurricane that brought a years worth of rain in one day.⁣
And the worse of it all…. I had to be taken away in an ambulance the day of her wedding.⁣
Pieces of a dance floor came crashing down on my head and back as we were setting up the wedding in the rain. Before I knew it, I was rushed out of the park and taken to the ER in Big Bear. I tried to come back but Alex kicked me out.⁣
I was trying to stay in the loop and texting every vendor there to help out. All this to be said that in the end, everyone came through for me and most importantly for Alex. And that’s why I love this picture so much!⁣

Oh as for me. I’ve been better. Nothing broke (thankfully) and I have a small concussion from the impact. ⁣

I recently had a wedding vendor randomly call me and propose we “work” together and refer people back and forth but I would pay them a referral fee. ⁣
I won’t say what this person did in the industry and I got the feeling they just started or they’ve been out for a very long time. By the tone of their young voice, I think it was the first. ⁣
I politely declined the offer and let him know that I don’t care to work with people that only want to refer me for a fee. In this industry, we are a COMMUNITY!!! I want to refer people because they are GREAT at what they do! They are TRUSTWORTHY and RESPECTFUL! Luckily for me, I get to call most of these wonderful people friends! ⁣
