Hey everybody! We are finally getting through our last show with the fabulous Tony Smiley! He rocked our world.
We are happy to announce that we have secured a food vendor, Cascade Alchemy. We will also have adult beverages from Three Creeks Brewing starting on 8/3/22 with The Brothers Jam/Stunt Poets show. Yay!

RAPRD Old Fashioned July 4th Celebration.
Join us at the High Desert Sports Complex, 1859 NE Maple, Redmond.
The festivities will go from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Music from 1 until 4.

Hello Music Lovers! We are going to do some live music this summer. Yay!
-2022 Music in the Canyon Concert Series-

All shows are on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 until 8, unless otherwise noted, at American Legion Park in Redmond.

July 4th, Monday----We will be working together with the Redmond Area Parks and Recreation District to throw an old-fashioned 4th of July picnic and celebration.
Bring the whole family for a fun day out! Come out July 4th, 11:00am-4:00pm for live music, games, prizes and more!
We will feature some good time music from the Jim and Jhon Show, a semi acoustic duo, with some special guests…
Join us at the High Desert Sports Complex, 1859 NE Maple, Redmond.

The festivities will go from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

July 20th----Tony Smiley. He is an amazing one-man band and loop Ninja. Tony is an old friend of ours whose live shows always leave the audience wanting more😊. This guy rocks! Look for some excellent halftime entertainment also.

August 3rd-----Brothers Jam and The Stunt Poets. A double bill with a couple Rockin’ Jammin’ bands for some psychedelic musical moments to get you moving and grooving. In the Dead, Neil Young, Rolling Stones mode.

August 17th-----The Roadless Travelers from Portland, play a mixtape of songs you know and love from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s and put their own twist to them. So, strap yourself in for some Roadless Adventure, Fellow Travelers!

August 26th, Friday----Soul’d Out and The Cutmen. For our Funky Friday Night Finale! With these two bands, a dance party is guaranteed to break out. Maybe a monster jam? Who knows? All we know is that it is going to rock in the park.

Here's some music from the amazing John Batdorf, who will be playing at our show next Wednesday, 8/18 at 5:30. He is the real deal. This is from long ago and far away:)

This was off the first album, "Off The Shelf" and became and instant "turntable hit" for us and but Batdorf and Rodney on the map. B Mitchell Reed, a progressive DJ here in LA worked for KRLA AM played this like crazy as did DJs all over the country. This was cut in Muscle Shoals Sound in 1971 with Roger Hawkins on drums, Barry Beckett on keys and David Hood on the bass. This album was produced by Atlantic Records President Ahmet Ertegun. This cut was the first and only take we did.

Hello everybody! We have finally gotten totally approved for our show on Wednesday, August 18th at American Legion Park in Redmond. We are happy to announce the following artists will be performing.

Bend's own Soul'd Out, bringing Soul, R&B & funk are the influences of Soul'd Out. with over 30 yrs professional playing & touring experience each- Dennis Morris (guitar,vocals), Steve Hartwell (keyboards, vocals), Rutledge Waterhouse (bass, vocals) & Bruce Klouda (drums, vocals).

Opening the show will be Redmond local, John Batdorf. John is famous in his own right, having performed with Batdorf & Rodney and Silver, back in the day. A consummate professional, who writes and sings incredible songs.

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES CANCELLED

We are disappointed to announce the cancellation of the Music in the Canyon Summer Concert Series. We have listened to the recommendations of our Governor and medical experts, concluding this is the most responsible course of action. Unfortunately, one of the best ways we can work together to address this terrible challenge is to stay physically apart.
We would like to take this moment to thank our partners, volunteers, and sponsors for their support. It is our intent to reschedule each act, contractor, and vendor for next year and we look forward to celebrating with you then.

Hello Music Lovers! We are gearing up for summer once again! Here's our music schedule...

July 1st-----Eric Leadbetter Band-Playing a classic rock sound with bluesy heavy jam sections showcasing their unique improv abilities. Eric has promised to feature a tribute to Jimi Hendrix during our show.

July 15th---Company Grand-A 9-piece exhilarating band who perform a range of Rock & Roll, Blues, Funk, and Rhythm & Blues originals.They showcase beautiful women, comedy, music, and any other local talent lucky enough to perform with them.

August 12th---Brothers Jam-This band is a Grateful Dead-inspired mashup of rootsy rock and deep rhythmic grooves, taking their audience on a sonic journey every time they hit the stage. Nimble and soulful, this then is the Brothers Jam: Beauty, fire, passion, freedom. Check it out.

August 26th---Dry Canyon Stampede-For our finale, we have chosen a 7 piece Country Western dance band from all over the Central Oregon area. They perform a wide array of country music styles. And people love to dance at their shows!

All shows are on Wenesday evenings from 5:30 until 8. There will be food and beverages available. These events are for fun and for free!
