For the last 12 years, Tiare Rush of Los Angeles based Coldpiece Photography, has worked to establish a solid foundation and a name for herself in the photography industry. She lives in Gardena, CA with her husband, daughter and greyhound Jessie.
Following her childhood passions of art and poetry, she now lives her life with a camera in hand ready to create what she fondly calls visual poetry. Early in her career, Tiare was affectionately described as a cold piece of work by her friends and colleagues, and the name “Coldpiece” stuck.
Specializing in shooting events, artists and entertainers, Rush has developed a unique and highly sought after style. She has incorporated Urban and Street fashion into her work, shooting for clothing lines, designers and musicians. She has been published in numerous magazines and other publications, and as her passion grew, she has sought to develop her versatility as a photographer by adding diversity to her portfolio. In 2017 Tiare shifted gears a little as she welcomed a daughter, Tehani to the world. As she grows, she has found a fondness for shooting families and babies, a true reflection of the love she sees in her daughter.
Although Tiare now goes by the name “Mommy” she’s still a “Coldpiece”
