When I first started my business, I said yes to everything. I worked with clients who weren’t the right fit, answered emails at all hours, and burned myself out. I thought hustle meant success.

Now, I know better. Boundaries don’t mean you’re selfish—they mean you care enough to show up fully for the right people. I set boundaries because my energy, creativity, and time are precious. When you hire me, I give you my all—because I’ve learned not to give my all to everyone.

I also learned to stay authentic and true to myself, even though this may “cost” me some business… but the price I pay is well worth it, since I get to work with people I really enjoy, and is so much more than “just one more wedding.”

I may not be for everyone, and I don’t close every lead…. But I know when someone decides to work with me, it’s because we are truly aligned. It’s a genuine connection. Just like with everything in life, it’s liberating when you can just be who you are.

Can I tell you something ? You should absolutely interview as many planner as you wish, and I encourage you to take your time to do your du-diligence before you select “the one…. “ after all, you will most likely be working with your planner for quite a while…

But once you select your planner, please trust her and her process.

I’m Paola – a Wedding & Event Planner, music lover, mother, and hopeless romantic! Born in Brazil, parties aren’t just something we do; they’re how we live. Dancing at Carnaval, celebrating with friends, and living life fully never stop – age doesn’t define us.

Owning my own business is something I was always destined to do. And after I planned my wedding in 2012, I found my calling as an event planner, combining my passion for parties and my entrepreneurial heart.

4 years ago, after going through divorce, I began a healing journey through Ayahuasca, therapy, and self-discovery. I rediscovered my light and promised to never dim it again. Living my truth has been the most beautiful transformation.

When I’m not working or with my daughter, I’m chasing DJs and dancing at music festivals around the world. Music is my love language, and Burning Man is my favorite thing to do– so I don’t take any weddings on Labor Day Weekend!

I plan weddings because I believe love deserves to be celebrated beautifully—even when life has been messy.

As someone who’s been divorced, I know love isn’t perfect. It’s hard, it’s vulnerable, and sometimes, it doesn’t go the way you planned. But I also know it’s worth fighting for. Your wedding day is about hope, about choosing love, and about saying, ‘We’re in this together.’

This work is personal for me. Behind every beautiful wedding you see on Instagram is a planner on her fifth cup of coffee, a timeline with a dozen moving parts, and a problem no one noticed because we fixed it before it mattered.
Last week, I spent 10 hours troubleshooting a seating chart when the bride’s extended family
decided to RSVP last minute. It’s not glamorous, but that’s what I do—solve problems quietly so
you can enjoy the magic.
The truth is, weddings are work. It’s creating flow from chaos, calm from uncertainty, and beauty from blank spaces. But it’s a job I love, because when I see the couple’s faces light up as they step into the reception, it’s worth every sleepless night.

Some mornings start with a mess—breakfast half-eaten, my kid refusing to get dressed, and me
rushing to an early meeting with vendors. By the afternoon, I’m deep into timelines and floral
orders, juggling a never-ending to-do list. By evening? I’m sitting on the floor playing Legos,
knowing I missed a few emails.
Balancing motherhood and running a business isn’t easy—it’s an imperfect dance. I’m either
killing it in one role or falling behind in the other. But in those small, quiet moments—my
child’s laugh after a stressful day, or a client telling me, ‘I couldn’t have done this without
you’—I’m reminded that showing up is what matters most. I’m teaching my child that dreams
require hard work, and I’m learning to give myself grace along the way.

Life can get so busy, that we go on every day with our busy schedules and agenda filled with commitments from work, to social plans, that often times we don’t take the time to stop and appreciate, how lucky and blessed we actually are.

So though we should be thankful everyday, because being alive is a blessing on its own, I can appreciate Thanksgiving day, as I can take the time to reflect on all the things I am thankful for, and recognize how blessed I really am.

I am healthy. I have a beautiful daughter. I have amazing friends, and great clients. I am healthy, I am healing, I am growing.

Thank you, God. For the life you gifted me. I am thankful and I am blessed.

Who feels me when I say, “This month did not go according to plan”?

Life always has a funny way of throwing unexpected twists and turns at us.

What I know for sure, though, is why I got into event planning in the first place.

I have a real passion for creating unforgettable moments and I am committed, come what may, to help my clients experience the weddings of their dreams without the stress.

And just like that, it’s October 1st!

September came and went in a blur, and I realized I didn’t even get the chance to share a post on my feed about my sweet Dahlia Rose’s birthday (although I did share it on my stories).

On September 14th, we celebrated her 7th birthday, and the fact that it fell on a Saturday made it even more special to host her party on the actual date. This year, Dahlia decided to make her own guest list, inviting friends from her old school, her new school, and those she’s known since the very beginning through my closest friends.

It’s incredible how moments like these make me realize just how quickly she’s growing into her own little person—full of her own thoughts, dreams, and decisions. She knows what she wants, and she’s already starting to shape her own world.

There’s a part of me that wishes I could pause time, even just for a little while, to hold onto the little girl who used to depend on me for everything. But I remind myself that we raise our children to grow, to become their own people, and one day they’ll be off to college, carrying with them the love and lessons we’ve shared.

Time doesn’t stand still. The older we get, the faster it seems to slip by, especially when we watch it through the birthdays of our kids. The days may feel long, but the years are always too short.

To my sweet Dahlia Rose: Mommy loves you more than words can say— to the moon and back, and then some. You may think I’m raising you, but you’re the one helping me grow in ways I never imagined. Thank you for loving me as I am, and for reminding me to reconnect with the playful, carefree child inside of me.
