We had a great time at our holiday craft workshop and mixer creating adorable ornaments and enjoying cookies and a hot chocolate bar.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our members, we were able to donated $11,300 worth of gift cards to the Children's Fund. The cards will be distributed to teens in foster care to make their holiday season a little more festive.

We put on the show! The first live performance on our stage in many years, and we hope not the last! The play was the Grand History Tradition of the Andy Landy Clan, which had our full-house audience laughing and crying, as any good play should.

🎁 The holiday season is a time of joy, happiness, family, and friendship. This year we have teamed up yet again with local community partners in order to continue our annual Redwood City/San Mateo County Holiday Toy and Book Drive.

🎄 This annual event has become a welcomed tradition in the Redwood City community and can only happen with your help.

📅 Please join us on December 11 from 4-8 p.m. at Red Morton Community Center for the annual Wrapping Party to help wrap gifts for families in need!

It's been a while since we've posted, but today we are proud to be hosting a mobile clinic for Stanford Blood Center. This is a quarterly event for us. In 2022, the clinics we hosted provided 128 pints of blood to the community.

At our November membership meeting we heard some horrific stats about sexual violence and trafficking in the Bay Area, but also the good work The Grateful Garment Project is doing to support survivors.

A sweet picture and thanks from Peninsula Family Service for our Night Night Kit project.

Our preschool children have been gifted a virtual hug via these "Night night" kits courtesy of the Redwood City Woman's Club, with new stuffed animals and books for bedtime.

Grateful to DoBel Construction crew for the excellent work they did to strengthen the clubhouse's foundations and earthquake resistance. Just one more project to make sure our clubhouse will continue to be our home for the next 111 years!

Every now and then we find a new treasure hidden in a box we didn't know about. This time, it's a flag with only 49 stars. This flag would have been in use for only 4 months in 1959 between Alaska joining the union in April and Hawaii joining in August.

We enjoyed an interesting talk at our May meeting from Lorianna Kastrop, club member and Redwood City Port Commissioner. Lorianna told us about the Port's history and some exciting new projects to increase public access, including a concert series and a new fishing pier.
