We have a number of new regular events starting over the next month & we're excited to announce Monday Night Music Open Mic!

Every Monday from 6 until 8:30 pm.

The guidelines are:

* Performer sign-ups begin at 5:45
* 2 song/10 minute maximum
(including set up time)
* Suggested 3 person limit per group
* Live accompaniment preferred, although backing tracks may be used
* Original music encouraged

We provide state-of-the-art sound equipment and lighting for a ROCKSTAR open mic experience!

We will be mixing up the format to include guest performers & singer/songwriter evenings.

Also... Band Jam night coming soon!!

Attendees must be 21 & over. Only food & beverages purchased at The Hub may be consumed onsite, thank you.

Showcasing a variety of artists hailing from the Bay Area and beyond, join us in showing your support for some exceptional talent.

Art pieces will be available for sale.

As many of you know, we have plenty going on in the background while we work towards the end vision for The Hub (& there’s a LOT more to come!). On the food side, we’re excited to announce that we are close to launching PIZZA as a regular menu item!

But to do this, we need to get in some practice and refine the process….

So… as we are opening for our first Sunday tomorrow (Nov 27th), we figured we may as well take the opportunity to do a trial.

There will be limited topping options, but here’s the deal… this Sunday we’re doing PAY WHAT YOU THINK IT IS WORTH for pizzas.

Doors open at 12 noon & we will be showing World Cup replays & NFL games.

Pizza supply will be limited, but we will have other menu items available.

21+ only due to our liquor license.

Anyone tagged (& following The Hub on Facebook or Instagram) is eligible but the person posting gets an extra entry, and there are also two extra entries for anyone eligible who is in costume. Can enter on multiple days. Maximum 10 entries per day per person.

BAR TAB prize draws will be made the following business day for all entries received. Winners will be notified & tagged on our Instagram page. All daily entries go into the draw for the HALLOWEEN WEEK GRAND PRIZES, which will be drawn the week after Halloween. We realise that some participants may not be interested in some of the grand prizes, so will attempt to contact via social media to confirm before the main draw.

SATURDAY LIVE MUSIC - this week is playing upstairs

Self described as "cassette soul rock", the lo-fi influenced production techniques on the recordings blanket the soulful compositions with a haunting atmosphere of tape noise and echo. This style of production has created an opportunity to create very different live experience, which is an intense, expressive, dynamic performance pulling inspiration from nu-wave and punk attitudes.

Opening Hours Update

SATURDAYS TEMPORARILY CLOSED,
Restarting April 2nd

Due to the lack of regular live events, Saturdays for the first couple of months of 2022 have been consistently inconsistent.

*But April is the turning point* We are getting a lot of event inquiries and starting to book bands again. There are a few remaining improvements to complete upstairs (including painting, a movable stage, new sound & light system), so instead of opening Saturdays, will be using the time over the next few weeks to focus on getting these finished off. Saturday nights will return April 2nd

We are still open Wednesday to Fridays:

- Second & Fourth Wednesday Comedy Nights,
- Karaoke
- Board Game Thursdays

with much more to come!

Plus our New Zealand influenced food menu & wide selection of drinks.

There are also many other exciting projects happening over the coming months. As we emerge from the pandemic, expect to see even more changes!
