Pere Marquette Catering is located in beautiful downtown Reed City at the corner of Upton Avenue and Chestnut Street (business 131). We also have the privilege of having the White Pine Trail and the Pere Marquette Trail system at our back door. We provide a relaxing atmosphere for dining for both the businessperson and the traveler, with our restored tin ceiling, wood flooring and locally produced

brick walls. We are open Monday through Friday with varying hours. We are also a Catering Company traveling the beautiful state of Michigan. No celebration is too small or too large for our staff. We are here to create a relaxing, memorable event for you our friends and family.

Sunday evening greetings to all.
Thank you to all who visited with us on Friday, Valentine's Day. We appreciate that you trusted us with your special celebration of love.

Thank you to Aaron Rodhe and his fantastic music during the 5 hours of dinner service. You made our night relaxing and enjoyable, especially for our guests and those of us in the kitchen and on the floor.

Last but not least Thank you to our staff, who continued to bust it out all day, 3 luncheons delivered before noon and continued to push it all afternoon and night. I appreciate you.

As to this week, we will be OPEN in the BISTRO to serve you Tuesday and Wednesday 11-2 and Friday 11-8. I sincerely hope we can serve you.

Good Evening. There's nothing like a snowy evening to be able to get caught up on the to do list.

Many have asked what's on the menu for Valentine's evening. Attached is the menu.
Dinner includes our vast Appetizer Table, your choice of House Garden Salad or Lobster Bisque, Assorted Breads with dipping oils, Herb Roasted Baby Potatoes, fresh Asparagus and Dessert from our fabulous Dessert Table.

If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate you.

We have live music for the evening from our good friend Aaron Rohde. Dinner service starts at 3 pm and will continue until 8 pm. The cost of dinner is $55.00 per person. Reservations are definitely recommended. 231-832-9833 for more information or to make reservations.

We will not be serving lunch Thursday and Friday, due to prepping for Valentine's Dinner and several other gatherings that we are taking care of.

Good evening. The saga of the bug continues through tomorrow, Wednesday, at the PMBC.

We have decided to OPEN at 11 am to 130pm for TAKE OUT ONLY. It's the week of LOVE and even though we sanitize etc, we want to keep you safe and not take the chance for either the respiratory, flu or whatever this thing Mother Nature decided to throw in the ring, catch up with you.

Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup

Chicken Quesadilla with lots of shredded mozzarella, sauteed shallots, mushrooms, crisp bacon pieces, grilled chicken, and fresh baby spinach. Tortilla chips, salsa, sour cream and your choice of house salad or soup too.

Friday, lunch starts at 11 am with Tonya filling in for the not feeling well Mark..Come on in and say hello to her!

How about a French Onion Burger on a everything bun with caramelized onion spread lettuce, tomato and french fries.

This package includes a delectable four-course meal provided by Deb and crew at Pere Marquette Bistro. In between courses, you'll design a beautiful flower arrangement to take home! Good Evening from the healthy portion of the PMBC crew.
Yes two of our staff didn't run fast enough from the current bug that is going around.
So.... Tomorrow, is Thursday, February 6th and we are going to try and serve you some delicious lunch, starting at 11 am. We may have to serve take out only, but are hoping to be able to serve you in house too. Just not sure at this point. We will post first thing in the morning.

Tomorrow's soup is going to be Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup.. The fixer of all sickness!!!

Monte Cristo Sandwich on grilled Brioche bread with a mild mustard sauce, melted Swiss cheese, grilled Applewood ham and honey smoked Turkey. Grilled, panini and served with a side of our freezer Strawberry Jam.

Crab Cake and grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad... crisp romaine, fresh avocado, tomato, onion, hard boiled egg, shaved Parmesan cheese and homemade croutons. Caesar dressing served on the side.

Grab and Go Dinner for Friday.... Chicken Alfredo with homemade Alfredo sauce, broccoli and matchstick carrots, garlic bread, choice of house salad or soup of the day and dessert.... $13.00 each Prefer red sauce? Substitute our homemade Marinara sauce for the Alfredo.

Yes we will be open for Valentine's Dinner starting at 3pm on Friday, February 14th and serving until 8pm. Appetizer table, choice of house garden salad or soup of the day, choice of entree... Prime Rib of Beef, Pan fried Walleye, Canadian Perch, Caprese Chicken Breast, Jumbo Panko Breaded Shrimp, Citrus Scallops and Shrimp, Cowboy cut Ribeye, and dessert from the famous dessert tray.
Music will be provided from our friend Aaron Rohde and there maybe a few other special tricks up our sleeves!!!

So YES, we will be open tomorrow in the BISTRO to serve you some delicious lunch starting at 11 am.
Homemade Cheddar cheese with broccoli will be our warming soup
How about a Greek wrap with grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, tomato, feta cheese, cucumber, onion and Greek olives, all topped off with our Mediterranean Feta dressing.

Let's do Blackened Shrimp Taco Salad with fresh avocado, tomatoes, sauteed pepper and shallots and shredded cheese all on a bed of crisp romaine lettuce.

Yes it's hard to believe, but Valentine's Day is just around the corner. It is on a Friday this year and YES we will be taking reservations. We are finalizing the exact details this week, but dinner will start serving at 3 pm and be available until 8 pm.

Yes we will feature the Appetizer Table, your choice of salad or soup of the day, Entree choice and of course dessert.

Our good friend Aaron Rohde will be here to entertain you during your dinner experience.

We will have definite plans as of Monday.

WE do definitely recommend reservations, as we will be only able to accommodate so many guests at one time.

Happy Lunar New Year's to all. Does that mean we get to start the year over? If so, can we just skip January and go to April?

So tomorrow is Thursday, we believe and the BISTRO will be OPEN for lunch starting at 11 am..
Homemade Tomato Bisque with grilled cheese croutons will be simmering on the stove in the morning

How about a set of Grilled Cheese Sliders with Bacon Cheddar cheese, fresh apple slices, crisp bacon, homemade apple fig jam and fresh arugula? Serve to you with a cup of homemade soup and a house garden salad.

Let's try a version of our Salad Burger Salad with our Smothered Chicken Breast with sauteed portabella mushrooms, onions, crisp bacon, lots of melted Provolone cheese and honey mustard. Served on a bed of fresh romaine lettuce with sliced Beef Stake Tomatoes and our Honey Dijon Dressing. Light and low on the carbs.

So for Friday's Grab and Go Dinner feature... homemade individual Lasagnas, with a side Caesar salad or a cup of soup, garlic bread and a cannoli for dessert. The Lasagna's will be baked, hot and ready for you to pick up and enjoy. $13.00 each.
Care to bake yourself? We can do that too.

We will be making a limited number. Please call us and reserve yours. Pick ups start at 4:30 on Friday. 231-832-9833 to place your order. They will take us about a 1/2 hour to bake.

We will be opening at 4:30 on Friday. We have a large funeral on Saturday morning and need the morning on Friday to prep for it.

Happy Sunday to all..
Once again THANK YOU to our friends Michelle, Amy and Christine from Ferris State University's Michigan College of Optometry for our wonderful Charcuterie Board that is engraved with the PMBC logo. We love it and no it will not be used for a Charcuterie Board anytime in the near future!!!!

So this week, January 26th through Friday, January 31st....
Monday, Closed for prep
Tuesday... Bistro CLOSED, on the road to Ferris and the School of Built Environment
Wednesday...Bistro CLOSED, on the road to Ferris for a retirement celebration
Thursday...BISTRO OPEN at 11 am.
Friday... Bistro OPENS at 4:30 for DINNER....

Friday's Grab and Go Dinner Special will be homemade Beef Lasagna with a house Caesar Salad or soup of the day, garlic bread and dessert. Individual servings for $13.00 each.

We have you covered with our Grab and Go this week!!! Homemade White Cheddar Mac and Cheese with or without Beef Brisket... Served to you with your choice of house garden salad or homemade Chicken Corn Chowder, cheddar biscuit with butter and your choice of cookie for dessert. Plain Mac is only $11.00 and the Beef Brisket $13.00, both are individual servings.
