Kids at weddings.

I absolutely love when kids are a part of a wedding, in any way. They bring a sense of presence, playfulness, boredom, and then pure joy. It’s a great analogy for what weddings truly represent. They are planned, but unpredictable. They are formal and dressed up, but also messy. They are full of joy, and yet there are tears. So much is happening during the day of wedding, yet they can still play in the sand.

Sunrises are always worth it. Yep, it’s early. I don’t always love it when the alarm goes off. However, there is no doubt that the second I see that amazing light and put my feet in the sand, it’s magic.
