Over the past month, we've been digging and separating the dahlia tubers we grew from seed earlier this spring to make room for the tulips (so many tulips🤩) that are still being shipped and are finding their hibernation home before a cold freeze❄️ sets in. A new flower bed for peonies, milkweed🦋, and experimental ranunculus flowers was created, and all were planted during the dry spell of November using a pressure washer method, which I highly recommend even if you get a tad muddy 😅.

Baby monarchs 🦋 are in the house! We grew the swamp milkweed from seed earlier this year and have been bringing the caterpillars from our outside milkweed plants to an inside habitat, so they dont become bird snacks. We're excited to watch their incredible metamorphosis journey!
