I am SUPER excited to announce that 39° North Productions has put the final touches on our very first television commercial! I can't believe this is really happening, and I'm so nervous to see it up on the big screen. The commercial is set to air on 4 different networks, starting March 24th - 31st! Detour is an award winning documentary about how a mental illness can affect a family. In this film we follow a young woman, Melanie, who is desperately trying to connect with her schizophrenic brother Travis. This film takes a look at how a mental illness affects the individual as well as those around them. Detour recently won "Best Documentary" in the CSU Media Arts Festival! This was Sean Amezcua's debut as a Cinematographer in a film.
