My recent styled shoot and my favorite with Lin and Tatum❤️

This next series of photos over the next few days have been some thing that I have been dreaming about in my mind. Several months ago I had reached out to a floral designer whose designs I absolutely love and told her about my crazy idea about building an umbrella Made out of moss and flowers. was immediately on board with the idea, and from there we started collaborating. The design that she made far exceeded the image that I had in my mind of what the floral umbrella would look like.

Then, as we were talking, I had suggested to a professional model that I had been dreaming about working with for over a year now. She immediately said with excitement that she too had wanted to work with this professional model. It was as if the universe and stars aligned for this project to come to fruition. We then reached out to the model and she was on board with our vision.

I am so happy to start sharing these photos! I truly believe that the universe and all of the good energy that was floating around helped us create exactly the vision we had.

A huge shout out to Deidre, the owner of fore daydreaming with me on what we wanted out of this project. Your floral designs are some of the most beautiful and unique designs I’ve ever seen!💐🥰🫶🏻

Another massive shout out to who modeled for us. You are such a natural in front of the camera, photographing you was effortless and fun! Thank you so much for contributing to this vision and bringing so much fun to the shoot, the laughter, the sillies, the dancing! I have been so privileged to be able to photograph this mama for the last 18 months with her first pregnancy, baby Henry. And now I get to do it all over again with her second child, a little girl who will be named Lily! I can’t even express enough in words how excited I am to do a repeat of what we did for her first child but this time with a little girl and to get to spend time with them furthering our relationship as not just their photographer, but now they’re inner circle and friend. it has been one of my most favorite things to be able to create art and preserve all of these special moments that we have created with this family. Although she is showing a little bit of a baby bump here we are scheduled to do her full maternity session when her baby bump gets a bit bigger!

This session was so much fun because I was able to utilize my friends studio space for the first time since they’ve been open and thoroughly enjoyed all of the natural light that floods into the space. It is so dreamy and they have so many amazing, backdrops, props, and window coverings that make this particular studio so very dreamy! Thank you to for your amazing space that allows us photographers to be creative in and the energy that flows through your space!

I also want to send a shout out to my favorite Floral designer, for always, capturing the vibe, aesthetic, vision, that all of my clients have for their sessions with me. You truly are a gifted floral designer, and I’m so excited for the future shoots coming up with you! 💐

Flowers are starting to wake up again in the garden, and so am I. November to April is my time to recharge and reflect on my floral journey. This year, we can finally grow more of our Flowers for brides. This has been in the works for many years, with lots of trial and error. My partner Gary is the master grower and has transformed the backyard into a small-scale flower garden with a greenhouse and an indoor grow system using soiling-blocking. I'm designing for some amazing couples this year and planned an incredible styled shoot for June.
This hyacinth survived the last frost and fit perfectly in my vintage egg holders supported by flower frogs.
