Hypho is about to have the dance floor moving at both Dead Ringer Analog Bar this upcoming Friday night, and our warehouse party in Oakland on Saturday night! We hope you'll join us for our Hydra Presents - Reno holiday parties as we welcome Manuka Records very own Hypho live in the mix! Hypho' sets are known to take crowds on a journey through various styles/genres and we can't to see what he's got up his sleeves this weekend at our Hydra holiday shows!

Hailing from Manchester, England producer and DJ Louis Richardson, known by his alias Hypho, is at the forefront of a new generation of UK artists. Through his versatile DJ sets ranging from 100-160 BPM, and his own productions; combining elements of dubstep, techno, garage, and the like, Hypho has created an undeniable signature sound.

In 2019, Hypho founded his own label Manuka Records, with the goal of showcasing new talent from across Europe and the USA. With a catalog of releases featuring artists such as Ternion Sound, Sukh Knight, Chef Boyarbeatz, and more, Manuka aims to showcase different music and styles from artists that they might not release elsewhere, thus exposing its audience to these fresh sounds.

Hypho’s music has found homes on prestigious imprints such as Deep, Dark & Dangerous, Swamp81, and EC2A, among countless others, only further showcasing his versatility as a producer. As his reputation has grown, it is no surprise that Hypho has toured extensively around the world, performing in clubs and festivals in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

We're looking forward to welcoming the legendary 'American Dubstep Ambassador' Joe Nice Friday night in Reno, and Saturday night in Oakland! Joe Nice's mixing abilities and track selections are some of the absolute best in the game and we can't wait to see what he has in store for us this upcoming weekend presented by Hydra!

Born in Southampton, United Kingdom, growing up in Baltimore, MD, USA but now based in North Carolina, Joe Nice is universally recognized as the ambassador of the dubstep sound in North America and has been highly instrumental in the growth and success of dubstep and bass music for the past twenty-one years. Essentially, he played dubstep before the genre had a name. He is North America's first and most respected dubstep DJ and is globally known as one of the most genuine and talented artists in the dubstep community.

Joe started playing dubstep in June 2001 with a collective of Baltimore DJ's, the 2 Charming Crew. Nice earned a residency at Sonar Baltimore and headlined local, regional and national shows shortly afterward. In September 2003, Joe Nice co-created a monthly internet radio show on GourmetBeats.com. His show was the first to feature dubstep in North America. In June 2005, while gigging and doing internet radio, Nice co-founded and was a resident DJ at the first dubstep night in North America, DubwarNYC.

He is the first American-based DJ to play on London pirate radio, Rinse FM, the first American-based DJ to play the legendary DMZ bi-monthly bash, and the first American-based DJ to play FWD>> @ Plastic People. In 2007, he was proudly selected as one of URB magazine's NEXT 100. In July 2011, Nice became a resident DJ at a new dubstep night in New York City, Reconstrvct. In May 2012, Joe transitioned his monthly radio show from Gourmetbeats.com to the award-winning SubFM, where his GourmetBeats radio show is heard on the second Tuesday of each month, 7 pm - 9 pm
EST. On the 2015 edition of the dubstepforum.com awards, Joe received the most votes in the “Best DJ” and “Best Radio Show” categories. Also in 2015, Joe created his record label, GourmetBeats, which releases new music on vinyl and digital formats and features leading and upcoming worldwide dubstep production talent. In September 2019, GourmetBeats Radio celebrated 16 years of internet radio broadcasts. In addition to 25 previous GourmetBeats releases, Joe has more releases
planned for the future.

Since 2001, Joe Nice has performed in over 150 cities in 50 countries, across 6 continents. His worldwide fan base continues to grow with his enthusiastic live performance, stage presence, upfront selection, and skillful mixing. If you have not heard the tune before, chances are you will hear that tune from Joe Nice.

Donation bins for food non-perishable food items will also be available tonight so feel free to bring food items to donate and give back to your local communities this holiday season!

Huge thanks to everyone that made it out to out Friendsgiving event last nigh at Dead Ringer Analog Bar ! The community really came together last night and we were able to donate a significant amount of funds, meals/canned good to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and we couldn't have made it possible without all of your help!

Get your Thanksgiving festivities started tonight at Dead Ringer Analog Bar for our Friendsgiving event w/ Snuffy, DJ MK Ultra , Webster , & DJ kev/null w/ visuals by BOKU !

Amazing to see we've already raised enough funds via donations and tickets purchases to raise 1200 meals for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada!

Online tickets are still available via eventbrite and will be cheaper than door prices! 100% of profit from this event will be going to our local food bank Food Bank of Northern Nevada. There are 2 food barrels at the door and the list of items we're looking for are in the comments, please only bring non-perishable items.

Noble Pie from Midtown will be providing pizza at the beginning of the night so make sure to come out early! Everyone else promoting, donating, and pushing this event - let's hit 3000 meals donated!
