was a year to remember! πŸ”₯ We had the honor of selecting a winner for this year's Celebrity Show n' Shine event. Our Operations Manager, Z, chose to recognize this sleek, dark blue 1967 Mustang. πŸ’™

The owner, Nick, purchased the classic when he was just 17 years old. Back in 2005, the car was stolen. It returned just 4 days later, but it had been completely stripped. He spent years working to restore it and got it back on the road just 3 years ago. For those last 3 years, he's been driving it from Sacramento to Reno for Hot August Nights with his friends! Nick shared with us some fun facts about the hot rod:

"This Mustang was built at the San Jose, California, plant on December 13th, 1967, and shipped to the Bartlett Ford dealership in Reno, where it was sold on April 20th, 1968. Although Bartlett Ford closed in the 80s, I was able to source New Old Stock Bartlett Ford license plate frames, which I put on the Mustang for Hot August Nights every year."

We had a wonderful time cruising with Nick and everyone at Hot August Nights (Official)! Until next year. 🏁
