Reno Rodeo is a 10-day event which began in 1919 and is a PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned sporting event. Over 150,000 fans will be in attendance for the 4th richest PRCA tour rodeo. The event impacts the Reno/Sparks area economy with $40 million going to hotels, casinos, restaurants and retail. A portion of the proceeds from the rodeo go to the Reno Rodeo Foundation to su

pport 27,000 children in Northern Nevada by way of 30 organizations that the foundation supports with its community grants program.

Wayne Brooks - Reno Rodeo Announcer ⭐️

Wayne Brooks’ smiling face and friendly personality illustrate a personal excitement for the sport of rodeo. Like many other announcers, his rodeo career began in the arena as a contestant. He competed in the rough stock events, gaining a personal understanding of the sport that he shares with the audience every night. Whether he’s joking with one of the cowboys between runs, or quietly requesting silence after a rodeo wreck, Brooks makes every fan a part of the performance. We’re looking forward to Wayne announcing the this year.

The announcers at the 2024 Wrangler NFR will be Randy Corley, Roger Mooney, and Wayne Brooks. The NFR is Dec. 5-14 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Corley, who was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2017, will be making his 24th NFR appearance, while it will be the eighth appearance at the NFR for Mooney. Brooks is making his 12th appearance at the NFR.
