Reno Rodeo is a 10-day event which began in 1919 and is a PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned sporting event. Over 150,000 fans will be in attendance for the 4th richest PRCA tour rodeo. The event impacts the Reno/Sparks area economy with $40 million going to hotels, casinos, restaurants and retail. A portion of the proceeds from the rodeo go to the Reno Rodeo Foundation to su

pport 27,000 children in Northern Nevada by way of 30 organizations that the foundation supports with its community grants program.

Tom Dolan was a treasured member of the Reno Rodeo family. His generosity and spirit embodied the heart of our event, and his influence on the Reno Rodeo and our community was profound. Tom’s kindness, vision, and unwavering support helped elevate the rodeo and countless other causes in Northern Nevada. We are deeply saddened by his passing and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family. His legacy of giving and passion for helping others will continue to inspire us all for years to come, and we know that his sons, Ryan and Brady, will continue to carry forward the incredible work he started.

Rest In Peace to a great friend of the Reno Rodeo - Guy Clifton. Guy was a revolutionary Nevada journalist and was honored as the ‘National Rodeo Writer of the Year’ 2002 by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Guy covered every performance of the Reno Rodeo since 1999. He also wrote a book ‘Reno Rodeo: A History - The First 80 Years.’ We will miss him immensely. Thank you for everything, Guy. We’ll see you on the other side. ❤️

Each year, the Reno Rodeo Association President selects and collaborates with an artist to create a limited edition print in honor of the “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West". 2024 President, Carrie Ann Sattler, selected Anouk Masson Krantz as this year’s artist. Krantz, a French fine-art photographer and author based in NYC, is best known for her American Western work. Her photography has received worldwide acclaim and influenced the resurgence of the Western genre in popular culture across the United States, and she has sold more Western artbooks than any other photographer in history.
