coincidence: an event that might have been arranged although it was really accidental

Toy Run 2025
I wanted to take a minute and address our connection to the toy run. For the last several years we have not been part of the toy run mainly due to it just wasn't fun for us to participate. For the last several years that we participated we would sell T-shirts we would donate a large portion of the money and the rest of the money went to go pay for the staff. Alot of people really thought there were a lot of volunteers and there were several from different organizations but from our side, we've always paid our staff.
Once COVID hit and we kind of had to change how the event ran and it became more of a cruise in dump your toys and leave situation it just didn't really fit with what we wanted to do.
Now it was only recently I learned that there wasn't going to be a toy run this year and then super bummed about that several had reached out to me about possibly doing something and I decided that it would be cleaner just to take a year off away from it try and promote some smaller local events for some other people in the community and enjoy it.
Yes the race track has reached out to me about potentially doing something and who knows maybe we will, but we are already taking on a role next year with a third date and helping out with the high school drags !
