It's with a heavy heart yet so much joy for so many great memories that we are announcing the closing of the Old Towne Event Center. I opened it nearly a decade ago and in that time met so many amazing clients who subsequently became friends and I have had the privilege to see their unions grow to young families. I also was so blessed to work with so many people who grew in our venue from high school, to colleges and onto their own careers. During the last several years, the venue was managed and led by Mrs Amy Schoen. The venue started with prayers and blessing and with her it continued. She took over with all of her genuine kind heart, and love for people to create a community and a place where people could congregate with great spirits and unions that we know will last a lifetime. To all of the students, managers, and friends there are no words to thank you. I started with a vision to create a beautiful space that would create happy memories, meaningful moments the good stuff! With all the beauty the beautiful crystal chandeliers represented...nothing can compare to the blessings we received in return...I received. As I mentioned in this post, I opened the venue and it was created in prayer and with that as much as I fought it, its time to grow to more blessings and a place for people to congregate. Amy has done a fantastic job , sometimes, God has another plan! A new opportunity presented itself for North Point Church to occupy the space and we are so happy! Our beautiful venue is now going to create a place for more people to go and nourish their souls, create a community. To Amy Schoen, all the Catholic High School students who made our dream a reality, to my children who jumped in to help and everyone else. To the managers, vendors, and community. Thank you. North Point Church we are cheering you on! May you be as blessed as we have been. Carol Ann Haake, owner. The Old Towne Event Center.
