Throwback to my infant years in the industry shop hopping and getting my footing / design roots. I have worked with 7 different floral design companies before I started my own. Switching shops was hard sometimes because they all taught different style and used different techniques. Some wanted me to drop everything I knew from previous shops in order to learn their specific style - which is okay, because their customers love them for their own unique taste. Being an independent designer / company now allows me that same freedom. I can take everything that has been meaningful and beneficial to my journey and drop what no longer serves me and have built my own style and floral culture. The journey matters πŸ’–

Restaurant tables can be much more narrow that wedding venue tables. Choosing to do a mix of different sizes of flowers or multiple small designs can help things feeling airy and elegant.
