It is with great joy in my heart that I am announcing Biofloria’s very first community charity event! This opportunity to give back is so close to my heart. Everyone deserves to be warm and comfortable in the winter, no matter what they are facing or how they got there. Once families and individuals have their basic needs met, they are able to focus their attention on creating a more sustainable life and secure future for themselves and their families. Some members of our community are unable to have this freedom due to a variety of circumstances, none of which should result in a member of our community being subject to the brutal cold of the winter season. Please turn your cheek towards love and kindness this season and support us and our efforts to give people a warm embrace. We are seeking donations of warm, durable, and quality winter items for all ages and all sizes! If you think your donations isn’t big enough! I beg you to think again, because even the smallest donation can make a difference! We are offering multiple ways to donate:
1.) Let us know you have items to donate! We will arrange a free pickup of these items on whatever day / time that works best for you! We are offering evening and no-contact pickup as well!
2.) You may donate any amount through a pay-link we send you and it will be added to our pool of money for purchasing the items directly! ANY AMOUNT HELPS.
3.) Come donate your items on the day of the event for entry into the event!
This event is for all ages. We know you would donate out of the kindness of your heart, but, we would still like to show our gratitude! If you can make it, please come enjoy cookies and treats baked by local bakers, local autumn flowers, warm refreshments, and a few activities for kids!
