Every useable flower left from vday is in this design. In an attempt to relax, I decided that when I made this arrangement I wouldn’t make any tweaks, even if something started to fall out place, and I would continue to add more blooms until I was done no matter what. Sometimes you have to roll with the punches. This design breaks rules of the traditional principles of floral design, but our lives are the same way. Not everything is meant to be perfect or in the exact right space. Keep going and when things don’t go perfectly, keep trying and adding to your life. In the end, our memory will be one big chaotic beautiful colorful masterpiece. ♥️

A flower filled room is the perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day! Light a candle - or multiple - stare at some blooms (smell them for extra points), and eat some good food with people you love, or by yourself! There’s no wrong way to spend today, as long as you do it lovingly towards yourself and others. Valentine’s Day is for everyone, because love is for everyone. You are all deserving of a nice big hug or a nice long sit this evening wrapped in your favorite blanket. 🌸♥️

For Isabella & James’ wedding, we had custom candelabra bowls created by in Baltimore. Lillian did such an amazing job bringing the vision for all the bowls and dishes to fruition. We selected a smoky palette of lavenders, merlots, greys, and fantasy colors to complement the rich and sophisticated colorful fall palette! Every bowl was unique and ikebana inspired with different candle pairings to evoke a creative and handmade feel throughout the space. Here are some of our favorite shots! 🌸☺️😍

We love when a client wants to do something new and unique for their wedding floral designs and will go to the end of the earth to make it happen. 🫶🏼

Among many updates being made to the website (partly still under construction - so I apologize for any gaps) with a bunch of new resources being provided to our clients to help educate them about the wedding floral planning process, I’ve also started a blog! 😄 You can go read about the most common floral design styles we create / are requested to create by our clients in the first blog entry, “Find Your Floral Design Style”. Not everyone has a specific style. It can be hard to identify one. We work with everyone and help them create variations of all floral design styles, but we typically like to have a general focus on at least one classification of floral design. The blog explains the styles in an easy to follow manner with plenty of visuals!

2 years could not have gone by more quickly. So much so, that I didn’t even realize the business hit two years officially on January 22nd, 2025. I am so thankful and feeling blessed beyond measure that we made it! 2 years is huge. Most people do not get here, and if I’m honest, there were times where I didn’t think Biofloria would either. I started this business blindly, with 4 years of design experience under my belt and a dream to go further. I had some not-so-good experience in the industry prior to starting Biofloria.(You can read more about this on my “Letter from The Owner” on the website) I was told I would never be successful and that I shouldn’t start my own business. That it’s too much work and not sustainable. At one point - a superior told me that I would never be a good designer. I am glad I didn’t listen to them.

I am so so grateful for each and every one of you who has put your trust in a newer business and allowed us to be a part of such meaningful occasions and opportunities. Biofloria would not exist without the amazing support we have from our clients, creatively and passionate friends, vendor pals, and the community that continuously lifts us up. Thank you for all of your kind words, referrals, reviews, shares, and direct support for this business.

It’s the appreciation of the beauty of flowers that got us started, and it’s your appreciation of the beauty of flowers that keeps us going. I cannot wait for this year and all of the amazing people we will meet, places we will go, and designs we will make.🤍🌸✨👌🏽
