I haven’t known if it’s my place to share, but I need this family to know how much of an honor it has been to capture this part of their story.

I’ve witnessed testimonies and love over the past couple of weeks that I will treasure for a lifetime.

Syd & Mason are full of everything I hope to be. They’re experiencing a heartache I can’t even imagine and they are leaning the way I always hope I will.

Mack David is the most precious angel. Grateful for the opportunity to capture his presence in this life. 🤍

Spring at this temple is something I will always treasure. The blossoms and tulips 🌷 😍😍.

The last few weeks I’ve captured everything from kiddo birthdays to dance groups to missionaries and headshots to families. I feel extremely blessed to be part of so many lives in this way!

Photographs are a special thing. I hope I get to do this job forever!!

I’m REALLY EXCITED for what this year holds.

I was muddling around my home this morning looking at inspo and realized that I’m just a small town country girl and I like that about me.

I don’t see me becoming some big editorial photographer. I hope to always be the FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER.

I just love telling your family stories. I love creating family history with you.

That’s the kind of photographer I am.

This week between Christmas and New Years is honestly a favorite of mine.

I feel like the world slows down. We all relish in our time together.

Everyone tends to catalog their year and make plans for a “better” year starting soon.

I’m so far behind on sharing the lovely people I’ve been able to capture and I can’t wait to share them with you!!

The Fall we’ve had this year is something to treasure!!

I’m the first person to move on to Christmas! 🎄 And while my decorations are hung and Christmas Spirit is in full swing, I’m hanging on to the Sweater Weather!!! I am NOT ready for coats… and snow… NOPE!!

Grateful for the opportunities y’all have given me this season and can’t wait for us to start freezing together making more!!

Newborns in the mountains is the definition of magic!!

Capturing authentic people is top 10 favorite things in the whole world.

Chloe and I just chatted about motherhood and creative outlets throughout her whole session. I brought my sidekick (a wild toddler) and we all just had the best time. ✨

We have some new faces around these squares, so I felt like it was time to say hi again!!

This is me… and my family!! Recently I quit my cooperate job to be a mom and creator more full time!!! I love it!

I grew up with a love of photography. My first camera was a retro Polaroid (before they were retro) and there was no turning back!

My husband is an avid fly fisherman and also a creator. He films fish and I photograph people. Ain’t too bad of a gig!

I love meeting and capturing your favorite moments!!! You’re my people and I’m so thrilled you’ve allowed me to be part of your life in some way!!!

A change in landscape was so fun for me!! This family has been so pivotal for me almost my whole life. We’re not technically related, but close enough.

I joke my whole childhood was spent with them… but it was probably a total of 5-6 days a year max 😂😂

Now we’re all older with our own families and any time spent together is special in a whole new way!

Grateful for a career that keeps giving me “excuses” to spend time with those I love!

It is amazing to me how much I learn capturing each and every one of you! These two taught me how fun like is with your person! Not to take anything too seriously and to never be scared of a little rain!

I once had a client that said “Please don’t edit out any of our wrinkles, we’ve earned them.” And that changed the way I photographed people.

I photograph you AS YOU ARE. I try to keep them as truthful, yet flattering as possible. I want you to feel great, but also be able to look at the photographs and think “this is our life.”

That is always my ultimate goal.

JOY. I promise you that sessions include the smiley posed photos with everyone looking at the camera. However, on my feed I rarely share those. I simply enjoy the shots that are real life joy. Behind every face is a story. And I love to capture the joy that is in that story. I love it so much.

Last night was so fun! This family holds a special place in my heart. They were my very first wedding and now they have 3 of the cutest kiddos and they’re still taking a chance on me for their photos. 🥰

As a photographer, or any artist I’m sure, it’s easy to put yourself down because your work is based on your own creativity. It’s a crazy line to be business oriented and keep up on your creative eye.

I truly rely on people trusting me to see their lives the best way possible. I can never express how much that trust means to me!!
