The light show last night was just as exciting as any firework show I've ever seen! Instead of the boom and ground rumbling of fireworks we got crickets and distant frogs (which were surprisingly loud!).

All set for today's wedding! Just waiting on the floral. If you are having a ceremony then a reception to follow, this is often what it looks like in the barn before everything starts. After the ceremony, it only takes a few minutes (and almost no expertise) to spread these ready tables out and place their chairs around it. This usually happens while pictures are being taken. Easy peasy, ESPECIALLY when Debi here decorates so tastefully. I can't wait to see her floral today! Then you are ALL SET to enjoy your people and your perfect day

All ready for a relaxed wedding and family get-together here tomorrow 🇺🇲 My husband's sister is getting married. Each of them have been married before and Linsey wanted everything to be simple and no-fuss, and I love it.WEDDING + PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT +A LITTLE FOOD is all that really matters in the end.
We started this venue right before COVID and I've seen so many different styles and approaches to weddings. That's how it should be.
One piece of advice I give every bride I see is this: figure out what you love and do that, don't even worry about the rest ❤️

Weekday Wedding Today! So, I think our biggest wedding out here was on a WEDNESDAY last year, odd fact huh. Who wouldn't want a mid-week break to go to celebrate at a friend's wedding?! did a wonderful job decorating, as always 💜

COLOR!!! always does such an amazing job. It is so fun to walk into the barn and see so much color. To all the brides out there: don't be afraid to bring out your own style!! There's no specific way your wedding SHOULD look, but hopefully it looks like yours.

In case you are wondering what kinds of things happen around here while there isn't a wedding... Always some kind of project! We have at least one wedding booked out here every weekend until October so we had to take advantage and tackle a tricky project. Glad to be done 😅. If you ever want to get big projects done, make sure you have an important deadline like a wedding, you'll get it done!ha! This time we dug a French drain, installed a propane line for the heaters and 🎆still coming 🎆 an outdoor fire pit, painted the pavilion and added lights and tables under there. Lots of great memories are waiting here for you this year 😁
