We met Buddy at the Blessing of the Animals! Happy Retirement!

Sheriff Kirk Imperati announces the retirement of DCSO K9 Buddy, who faithfully served Dutchess County for over 10 years. K9 Buddy will spend retirement with his handler Deputy Brophy, searching for frisbees in their backyard opposed to searching for lost individuals and fleeing suspects.

Enjoy retirement K9 Buddy, and thank you for your service!

We fly all year! The weather and the daylight in the winter months do change flying restrictions for the birds! Remember the birds are part of our family and are a priority! We will do our best to help with any celebration of life! Our birds are able to return home from 500 miles with proper conditions!
