Happy Friday! We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday and are hopefully still getting to enjoy some time off with your loved ones. Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday and for one day only we’ve got 20% all Christmas silks, 20% our brand new Forth Floral merch (This merch has been a long time coming and it’s finally here, rep your favorite greenhouse!), and our pixie poinsettias are temporarily back at $8.95. Here’s a quick reminder that flowers make a great hostess gift because not only do they show you care, they also work to elevate your event. We will be CLOSED tomorrow to celebrate the holiday, and then open again regular hours Friday: 8AM-5:30PM, Saturday: 9AM-3PM, and Sunday: 11AM-3PM.

We're celebrating our 124th Anniversary this week!
In October of 1900, my great grandparents, Peter and Lena Philipp, immigrants from Luxembourg, arrived in Rhinelander with their young daughter, Julia, and started the greenhouse that would become Forth Floral.
Julia and her younger brothers grew up helping her parents in the greenhouse. She was only 18 years old when her mother died, and she stayed home to help her father run the business and care for her brothers. In 1928, Julia met and married Arthur Forth and together they bought the store and greenhouse from her father and renamed it Forth Floral.
Julia was my Grandma. This is a picture of her in her early 20s before she married my Grandpa Art. They lived in the house right next to the store and raised their family of three daughters including Leona, my mother. Grandma Julia stayed involved in the business until her death in 1989. She was a strong and loving link in the line of women at the heart of Forth Floral. - Ruth Hempel

Happy Monday! Time for a little show off of some of the trees in the store. We still have plenty of beautiful ornaments and gift ideas for your loved ones! Stop in today and pick out those perfect finishing touches to make your holiday shine!

This last week we’ve been busy bringing some magic to the hospital for the holiday season! This is always a lot of fun to do and we love getting to see how excited everyone gets when they see us come in with their trees! Which tree is your favorite?

Happy Monday! Just a reminder that we’ve got wreaths, trees, swags, kissing balls, spruce tops, roping, and Christmas greens by the pound! We can also decorate wreaths and make bows!

If you didn’t make it to the concert last night, here’s a few highlights for you to enjoy! Thank you again to the Rhinelander Area Community Band for bringing their beautiful music for all of us to enjoy!

It has begun… Happy Monday everyone, hope you had a great weekend! Now marks the official beginning of our decorating for the Holiday Open House this year. The Open House will be on the weekend of November 22-24th, and we’ve got lots of exciting plans for the store. Please bear with us as we start making lots of messes! We love this time of year!

Behind the Scenes: Last week was busy with a wedding, some early homecoming, all our regular orders, and a few more random projects. One big project we’ve been trying to get to for a bit is organizing all the new stock we got in for Christmas, and it’s finally done! We’re getting excited to start setting up for the Holiday Open House. Any day now!

Homecoming is just around the corner! We’ve got our display all set up and ready for anyone who needs to order a corsage, boutonnière, pocket square, posy bouquet, hair flowers, floral necklace, or any other cool floral thing that will make the day special! Stop in soon and get your orders in!

Nothing feels more like fall than a bunch of beautiful fall mums! We have some really lovely colors this year, including our tricolor mums and our larger multicolor mums. Which one is your favorite?

Happy Monday! Despite what the song says, yes, we do have bananas! Not only do we have some bananas growing on our large tree in the greenhouse, we also have a few smaller trees available for sale. You could grow your own right at home!
