Why do I do styled shoots?

Well, for a couple of reasons! Earlier last year I was experiencing some burn out and felt like I was photographing the same way, in the same similar settings, and many of my posts reflected continuous similar trends that wedding clients were going with each year. I decided that a goal moving forward would be to carve out time to shoot for just me. To create and design shoots from my own visions and vibes at least once a month as an outlet to create content that I envision and style, want to showcase my work on, to attract clients who also appreciate the style and vision, and to provide something different than the usual current trends I see in my social feeds. The other reason, and more importantly on my wedding styled shoots, is to collaborate with other vendors in the industry to not only provide photos from our final outcome, but to also showcase their fantastic services and talent through photography on social media and other promotional outlets. Small businesses supporting each other and lifting each other up is the heart and soul of the American dream.

To say I was shocked to see this is an understatement. I am beyond honored to have my work from two of this year’s styled shoots chosen for this gracious display in the storefront of the fabulous Sara Loree's Bridal and Formal. But more so, I want to show off how AMAZING and TALENTED all of the vendors involved who worked on these shoots are and also have their work shown! Weddings are systems in themselves, as they are all made up of interdependent components. Each component has to contribute their job(s) in order for the system to succeed as a whole.

The Romantic Summer Vineyard Wedding on the left is brought to you by wine and beautiful views from Somerset Ridge Vineyard and Winery, flowing florals by Wild Hill Flowers and Events, dress and suit provided by Sara Loree's Bridal and Formal, hair and makeup by Hair by Paiton, a cute-as-a-button b***o from The Louisb***o, and modeled by the ever-so-stunning Jake and Paiton Trujillo.

The Black and White Classic Modern Wedding on the right is all thanks to the collaboration of planning with Morgan - Wedding & Event Planner, venue accommodations of Isinglass Estate, florals by 49 Floral, dress and tux provided by Sara Loree's Bridal and Formal, hair done by Flawlessly Finished by Haidyn, makeup applied by Made by Margo, cake supplied by Dangerously Delicious Desserts, and modeled by the striking Bradley and Morgan Kinsey.
