I'm so excited to get to try some wine made by my friend Darin! Gorgeous small production single vineyard chardonnay... I'm drinking bottle #1265 of 1620. Thank you for making my night! If you haven't tried them, what are you waiting for?!? I ordered a vertical of his Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and am kicking myself for not getting two of each!!

Last year we decided we were going to buy a house when our lease expired and had made plans to dig in hardcore beginning this past January... Clearly without the knowledge of what a total disaster the real estate market was going to be by then. Regardless of what a daunting and as likes to put it financially irresponsible decision it would be to purchase in that kind of market, we ended up with an incredible home and a much less painful process and better purchase price then the horror stories I've heard from so many others! And now, months after we have closed and her job is done, is still checking in on us regularly and sending the sweetest most thoughtful housewarming gifts. If you are in the market for a new house and need a fabulous realtor who also happens to be a spectacular friend, I can't recommend her more! Thank you Cassy so much for everything that you have done and continue to do as both our friend and realtor. You rock!

So after having three internal piers put in the back half of the house, we can't make any major cosmetic changes for 3 to 6 months while it finishes settling out.. which has resulted in a mediocre paint job and complete lack of attention to the walls in the closet in my sewing room where one of the piers went in. However, I did manage to piece back together the wood floor to cover the giant gaping cement hole and also got my storage reassembled inside the closet! My sewing room officially has a place to store fabric! Now to figure out the holes in the hallway! 🤷🎉

Leftovers reimagined. Sauteed beet fronds and arugula, roasted baby beets and carrots, a little bit of salmon and steak from the past couple of nights, chimichurri and balsamic tossed with a little balsamic and four cheese tortellini. Sooooooo delicious ❤️
We have cooked and eaten our groceries at home for what feels like weeks, but today after what we hope to be the last grocery trip for a while I was dying for smoked salmon to go on the bagels we'd just gotten. Locally owned, amazing seafood market and restaurant who today, as always, went above and beyond. They took our card over the phone and ran the food out to our car when it was ready. Support local, support your neighbors' and your friends' businesses when you can. Thank to the staff at TJs and Jon and for being part of our staycation Saturday. ❤️

They've evacuated all of Sonoma... It's unreal. Wind gusts of 50-90mph and the fire is at least 30,000 acres as earlier of this morning. It's jumping the fire breaks and has completely destroyed multiple wineries and homes. It's unreal. I got a flight out and will be home in a few hours. If you pray, pray for California. If you don't, keep the hundreds of thousands of people who are displaced and trying to salvage what they can of their lives and homes. Hug your people, tell them you love them and don't take for granted that you are safe. Thank you for the ride to safety!

It’s about owning my power as a woman and realizing that me, along with you and millions of other women, control about 85% of household budgets.
85. Freaking. Percent.
Women control trillions of dollars a year. Do you know how many zeroes that is? A lot.
Women are the household Chief Financial Officer, and that role means a lot of responsibility, and even more OPPORTUNITY.
So who run the world? Girls. We’re literally running the global economy because we are the ones getting to decide where 85% of the budget is spent.
I don’t know about you, but I think that’s pretty incredible!
