Congratulations, Berkner HS Drumline, for placing 2nd out of 11 schools in Standstill I “Red Division” at the 2023 Lone Star Classic Drumline Contest this past Saturday held at Marcus HS!!

The Berkner Jazz Program will be presenting their fundraiser dinner: “Swingin’ Taco Night” on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM in Senior Way. The dinner includes 3 Tacos Al Pastor Con Piña, Rice & Beans, Dessert and a Drink. The food will be homemade by Dr. Samperio’s mom.

Tickets will be sold for $15 each, and will be available for pre-sale only. Due to limited available space in Senior Way, ticket sales will be capped at 200 tickets.

See a Jazz Band student to purchase your ticket! Ticket sells end on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 4:20 PM.

Sendoff for the State-Bound Berkner Band:

Sunday, October 29, 2023
3:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Berkner High School B-Field

In the event of rain, the sendoff will occur indoors at the Berkner HS MAC at Yale Blvd & Berkner Dr.

All are invited to the Sendoff for the Berkner High School Mighty Ram Band before they travel to San Antonio to perform in the Alamodome for the 2023 UIL 6A State Open Class Marching Band Contest! Berkner is proudly one of only 42 qualifying bands from across the state, and will be competing on Monday, October 30 at 8:30 PM.

The Berkner Band will give their final "home" performance of their 2023 UIL Contest Marching Show at the 3:00 PM sendoff this Sunday. Come hear the band and cheer them onto the buses as they take their show to the Alamodome in San Antonio!
