Each year, 3️⃣ bands comprised of young musicians compete for the ultimate title of Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival Battle of the Bands winner, taking home a generous prize package including cash and much more! A qualifier round hosting up to 12 bands will take place on April 13 at 2:00 p.m. at The Revel Patio Grill Frisco. At that time 2 bands are selected outright to compete in the finals at Wildflower! and an additional 2 bands are selected to compete in an online fan’s choice contest for the third finalist slot.

The finalist will then perform in the finals, held at Wildflower! on Sunday, May 18 on the Methodist Richardson Medical Center Stage where a Grand Prize Winner is selected. Individual awards are also presented overall to Outstanding Lead Singer, Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer, and Keyboardist.

The deadline is TOMORROW 3/21 for the Budding Talent Vocal Competition open for students Kindergarten - 12th grade!

Live auditions for all applicants will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Richardson Senior Center, located at 820 W. Arapaho Road. Contestants must apply by the March 21st deadline to participate.

Contestants are grouped into five age categories:
Seedlings: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
Sprouts: 3rd Grade – 5th Grade
Buds: 6th Grade – 8th Grade
Jr. Wildflowers!: 9th Grade – 10th Grade

This exciting event allows artists to turn a guitar into a piece of art, and these pieces get auctioned off to benefit Network. If you have an old guitar or string instrument in any condition, consider giving it a new life as a piece of art! You can take the instrument to Richardson Community Events, located at the BACK of the municipal courts building at 2100 E. Campbell Rd Ste 100, and make sure to come to Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival to see these pieces in all their glory!”
