Not a traditional cake girl? What about bundt cakes or bundtinis? A fun, cute and delicious alternative!

A question I am routinely asked about dessert tables is what the couple needs to provide. For all dessert tables I provide everything except for the goodies themselves (and possibly small plates/napkins if needed). My staff and I set them out and style them so all you have to worry about is getting them to the venue.

Most brides seek a unique wedding and want something that sets their wedding apart. Admittedly, with today’s booming wedding industry and social media presence such as Pinterest this can be a difficult feat.

The smallest of details can often times make the biggest impact such as these personalized “fun facts” printed napkins or “The Wedding Post” newspaper (ceremony programs). The guests loved them!

My favorite part of event decorating is that it is constantly changing, evolving and I get the opportunity to style a huge array of looks. Wedding season is wrapping up in the next couple of weeks and looking through my 2023 portfolio, every event was so different from one another which makes it all more the fun.

I decorated 4 events in the last 3 weeks and all of the styles have been completely different from one another. After rustic, vintage and colorful events, it was a fun switch to this clean and modern style with a color palette of white, black and champagne.

🔥 Story time 🔥

At this wedding we were done setting up and I was lighting one of many candles at the head table. It just so happened that I stupidly took my hair out of a ponytail minutes earlier (see where this is going?) and as I lean over to light a pillar candle, my long hair falls into the flame of another lit candle. Me, completely oblivious, had no idea until I see a large, bright flash out of the corner of my eye. It took my husband running and aggressively grabbing my hair for me to register that my hair was on fire.

Thankfully the flame was out as fast as it started. After a long laugh from all of us who witnessed it, my husband was left with a singed hand and I was left with a chunk of missing hair and smelling like I just left a branding.

So folks, take it from me… Pay attention…and wear a ponytail when you are around candles 🤪.

Picture it… It’s NYE, you married your best friend and you had the most stunning, romantic and emotional day. At exactly midnight, sparklers were lit and 500 balloons fell from the ceiling as you are surrounded by your family and friends, all counting down to the new year.

What a💥MAGICAL💥 way to end the best day of your life.

Although technology is amazing, I miss when snow days meant no school or work and you could spend the day playing outside, drinking hot chocolate and cozying up on the couch.

This generation of kids will never know the excitement of waking up and waiting for that little red bar to scroll across the tv screen.

My largest wedding to date…

A head table that spanned over 50 feet, a total of 100 tables, thousands of stems of fresh greens/flowers, hundreds of candles and (what felt like) a million chair covers. I love a challenge and even with the size of this event, it was detailed, personalized and represented the amazing couple.
