Thankful... For 171 years the barn at Folk Song Farm has stood straight and strong through the seasons. Thousands of individuals have visited Richfield from nearly every state in the U.S. and multiple countries because of events held in the barn. With each we've shared the story of agriculture, the rich heritage of our community and our deep roots. Thank you to our staff, who mostly hail from within 5 minutes of the farm, for being nothing short of incredible...for helping us welcome families and care for each individual as if they were their own family. Today, bikers from across the state gathered at Folk Song Farm for a pit stop along their 60 mile ride which provided live music, locally produced food, and beautiful views. Ride to the Barns is a fundraising bicycle ride through Lake County and rolling farmland in Waukesha, Washington, and Dodge counties. Rest stops are at farms serving locally produced food to highlight farmland preservation, including the land at Folk Song Farm. Thank you Tall Pines Conservancy for organizing this beautiful event!
