Historic Taverne of Richfield Restored as Olesia’s Taverne
Chef Olesia Pochynok Butano has expanded her dreams with the renovation of the historic Olesia’s Taverne of Richfield to include patio dining, upscale and luxurious main floor lunch and dinner setting, banquet spaces, private rooms and a funky “Mahogany Room” speakeasy style bar in the basement. After a successful 8 years as Olesia’s Place in North Royalton, the team moved their incredible recipes to Richfield in May of 2020. As a Ukrainian native, Olesia's passion for cooking stemmed from the finest cook in their home village - her grandmother Maria and her amazing use of fresh ingredients grown right at her home in Ishkiv - a village which is only 41-acres in size. Growing up on a farm, Olesia appreciated the benefits of using only fresh meats and produce by raising their own animals and growing their own fruits and vegetables. All of these traits were brought to Olesia's previous restaurant "Olesia's Place" where fine dining meets Ukrainian flair. We look forward to hosting entertainment every weekend, weddings upstairs, fantastic parties and great celebrations for years to come!
