Terrace has exceeded all expectations for a wedding venue! From the beginning planning process through the wedding day, they were always there to help make our day what we had dreamt! The coordinators and Terry were always just an email away if we had any questions or concerns, and they helped us talk through all the final details. The venue itself is beautiful & speaks for itself! The venue comes with lots of decorations included so there were minimal decorations we had to provide ourselves. The outdoor ceremony space is BEAUTIFUL! There was rain forecasted the entire day of our wedding, & the staff at Terrace were so flexible in making sure we could have the best possible outcome. We ended up having a 1 hour gap in the rain and the staff dried out the benches quickly to make sure it was ready for our ceremony! The owner, Terry, even stopped in on our day to walk me out to meet my dad before the ceremony! If I could give them a million stars, I would. We are so happy with our decision, & cannot thank the staff enough for making our day the best day ever!♥️

The Venue Manager is an integral part of the success of Terrace 167 and is responsible for ensuring the smooth ex*****on of daily operations. The ideal candidate is someone who has a dynamic, hands-on personality, will train and supervise staff and must possess an extensive skill set and qualifications that work together to plan events efficiently and ensure weddings and events run smoothly. You will be working hand-in-hand with our Event Managers to guarantee our clients have a memorable experience at Terrace 167.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• ● Tracking all incoming inquiries from our company website, direct emails, social media and partner recommendations.
• ● Schedule tours with prospective clients and complete full walk-throughs to answer all venue related questions.
• ● Follow up with the client after a tour has been given to see if they have any further questions and if they would like a contract written up
• ● Maintaining a spreadsheet with potential clients
• ● Keeping our Google calendar up to date with weddings and events
• ● Schedule and manage the final details with the client one month before event (day of timeline, arrival, vendor arrival times, ceremony start, bar information, beverage package choices, AV needs, speeches, dinner serve time, dances, late night snacks, last call, cleanup, etc.)
• ● Schedule event support staff to assist with room flips pre and post events (rental events and bands)
• ● Assist Event Manager with Marketing efforts - social media content creation, newspaper ads etc.
• ● Work together with the Bar Manager to coordinate all events

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• ● Team management and leadership skills
• ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ● Highly organized, creative, detail oriented, motivated and responsible
• ● The ability to anticipate event needs, prioritize & meet deadlines
• ● An out-going, people-orientated and fun personality
• ● Fantastic customer service skills and high expectations for quality
• ● Problem solving skills and the ability to reflect and consider ways to improve

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
• ● 3+ years of hospitality/venue experience
• ● High school diploma or GED
• ● Associate degree or higher in management a plus
• ● Supervisory experience
