It’s been awhile! I promise I’m still here— didn’t mean to go off the grid completely, but I’m so grateful to have this time off while Desmond’s little.

I am *slowly* easing my way back onto this platform as I figure out how to both be a mom and a small biz owner. In the meantime, we are blowing drool bubbles and avoiding the heat ☀️

Happy April! One thing I love about my job is the chance to show you guys weird & wonderful flowers. Y’all know I LOVE texture and these clematis pods are one of my all time faves. Don’t they look like they came straight out of a Dr. Seuss book?! 🍭

FINALLY highlighting another super special wedding 🤍 Callie is one of the sweetest people I know & I’m so thankful to have gotten closer to her the past couple of years. So when she reached out about her wedding flowers, I was over the moon to do them for her. Plus, she cried when she saw her bouquet 🥹 As a florist/artist/creative, seeing that kind of emotion to something I made was one of the best moments of my career.

So many beautiful details & I’ll let the pics speak for themselves. Thank you Callie & Matt for allowing me be a part of this moment!

Brenna & Carsten: To know them is to love them—you know when you meet someone and you instantly vibe? Two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and you can just see their personalities shine through these pics! They have been so supportive of IMFD and it was an absolute joy to be a part of their wedding. And those olive bridesmaid dresses?! Unreal.

Stairway to Heaven ☁️

JK, but this was the staircase of our dreams! This was the biggest install of our 2022 wedding season and we *still* haven’t recovered.

It means so much when a couple trusts us with their vision. Jeff and Angelica, we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to bring it to life. Absolutely loved reliving this day— Happy (belated) anniversary!

This is one of my ALL TIME fave weddings. Y’all know how much I love Halloween and when Lauren came to me with her vision, I nearly died of happiness. So many amazing details (peep those little ghost candles!) and the florals were a perfect blend of moody and classy.

An updated bio on Lynn aka Mom!

Mom is our secret weapon— she assists with all things wedding-related, makes any last minute store runs and before her move, supplied different flowers and foliage from her garden.

Yes, it’s true— my parents retired to Florida this summer but she’ll be coming back to help me with some bigger weddings for the remainder of the year!

Some fun facts about her:
- She has the cutest grandkids on the planet (it’s true, my niece and nephew are basically models)
- She is a terrible speller lol
- Her fave TV series is the BBC version of Les Misérables 🎶

I met Kayla at VCU when we were in the teaching program together— Kayla is still an amazing teacher and my career, obviously, went a different way! But it is so special when paths in life cross again. She told me our florals were the first thing she thought of when she and John got engaged and I nearly sobbed.

These summer colors were an absolute dream and we loved the way the peaches and corals paired together 🌺 Such an honor to be a part of this day— so happy for you both!

We are *still* catching up on our weddings from last year, but honestly it’s been so nice looking back on our couples & their special day!

Y’all. Charlotte is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She told me “Before I started planning our wedding I was not at all excited about the flowers, but always loved watching your instagram and the magic you created” and my heart completely melted.
