I just want to say what an honor to be chosen to receive the 2024 Robbie Hill-Morrison Leadership in Advocacy Award. When I tell you SHOCKED is an understatement. I was actually catering this woman’s conference last month with boxed lunches and snacks when the founder of this ministry and event Brittany Francis started speaking about this amazing woman and what she stood for in business, the community and her heart.

Robbie was an amazing strong woman of faith. She was praying for and with her nurses literally until her last day before she transitioned with the Lord. She was a police officer for 25 years and she started the domestic violence unit at Long Beach Police Department in Long Beach, California. She also worked vice, crimes against children, K9s, and anti-terrorism. But her heart was for victims of domestic violence. She was also on a show on Discovery ID about one of her cases! Such an amazing woman in the community.
So to be honored as the very first woman to receive this award by Robbie’s daughter, I was so grateful and humbled. ♥️🫶🏽 THANK YOU!
