Tuckahoe Plantation Stables is a full-service boarding facility located in eastern Goochland County, 30 minutes west of downtown Richmond. Tuckahoe Plantation, the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson, is an historic estate and working farm, with 600 acres of riding trails throughout the property. The Stables offers both stall and field boarding. The facility boasts a large sand dressage arena, large

(120' x 275') lighted sand arena, and miles of trails across the property on wooded and open land as well as along the James River. There is a tack room with restroom facilities, wash stall with hot and cold water, and a washer and dryer on site. The barn farrier is available on a weekly basis.
