We are so grateful to have the opportunity for our team to volunteer at Fresh Food Wednesday Drive-Thru Food Pantry for the second year in a row. The food pantry is located at Scott Memorial UMC (409 First Colonial Rd, VB) and serves fresh, substantial food to families in need in our community every Wednesday evening. The food we served included fresh produce, meat, dairy, eggs, and desserts for families with a birthday or celebration this week. Many of the families we served are working families who are still struggling to make ends meet. This is a volunteering opportunity that anyone in the community can participate in.
