Another recipe developing session happened tonight! A twist on Haluski -a Central/Eastern European comfort food of noodles & cabbage. This one is Whole30 compliant (if you take off parmesan cheese topping & use only ghee), keto, paleo & gluten free. Ground Beef & Zucchini noodles with cabbage, onions, garlic & a teeny jalapeño & ginger sautéed in butter (or ghee) with salt, pepper & paprika. Topped with parmesan cheese sprinkle. It was awesome with my glass of sauvigon blanc!

2 new orginial whole30 dishes: 1) chicken with apples, blueberries, pecans and a blackberry/ cilantro, balsamic dressing over bed of lettuce 2) Taco lettuce cups with chunky avocado Pico de gallo

All whole food, no dairy, no grains/gluten, no sugar, no soy/legumes and so delicious if I say so myself!

Baked Salmon with bruschetta topping with balsamic glaze, Steamed Broccoli with Olive Oil, Tropical seasoning (Sazon) with Ghee carrots (all Whole30 & paleo compliant). I love the colors! Soooo yummy!

Getting ready for a wonderful fundraiser event tomorrow for Jacob's Chance! It is our pleasure to support this deserving charity for the 2nd time. It was our last big event prior to covid shutting down the world in March, 2020. It's held at the Acca Shriners Temple on Bellevue Ave. They have tickets at the door, starts at 7pm. **dress to impress for the roaring 20's gala**

Our menu includes: Apps: cucumber bites filled dill cream cheese & bbq chicken waffle bites with smoked gouda.

Country & city ham biscuits on variety of breads
Pesto, sun dried tomato, 5 cheese tortellini salad
Chicken cilantro wonton bites with Mango Tomatillo Salsa
Sweet & Sassy Meatballs
Pepperoni Pizza Muffins
2 charcuterie platters with meats/cheeses/jams/nuts/olives/crackers/baguettes.

The desserts are:
2 bundt cakes that are marble-one with chocolate icing & one with vanilla icing
Fudgy Brownie bites
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Madeleine cakes dipped in dark chocolate
Heart shaped Chocolate Cookies with sprinkles
Mini Cupcakes with Cinnamon Toast Crunch icing
6 oz individual dessert cups with a variety of choices including Watergate salad
(Pistachio with pineapple/marshmallows) Banana pudding, S'mores pudding cups & Butterscotch cups

Trying out a new recipe which turned out very tasty...Vietnamese Noodle Dish (vegetarian except fish sauce). You could add chicken or beef to it.
