I'm thrilled to announce that Morrisson-Reeves Library has adopted the Lyricists' Corner series, with its first season set to run August-October 2024 on 2nd Thursdays, from 6-8 PM! Each event will feature two guest songwriters, hosted by Achilles Tenderloin.

Heya, friends. If you have a couple of spare moments, would you mind poking around ye olde website and letting me know if you run into any usability problems or other issues? I've finally made some long overdue updates. There are still some stylistic changes I want to make--and a trove of content to add, but at least now the information is current and accurate 😅 Thanks a bundle!

Achilles Tenderloin is Joe Augustin, an indie-folk & acoustic blues songwriter and guitarist from Richmond, Indiana. Achilles Tenderloin performs as a solo, duo, or full, 4 to 6-piece band.

THIS SUNDAY, MAY 22, from 6-10 PM! Friends, it's time for another intimate evening at the Peacock Pen with some of the finest songwriting musicians anywhere. This month, we'll hear from Sharon Lane, Amber Hargett, and Sarah Asher! A little birdy told me Aaron Nell will be there, too; and you might hear a little something from Achilles Tenderloin, if there's time.

As usual, we'll have refreshments starting at 6 and the music will begin at 7 PM. If you want to bring something shareable, that's always appreciated. Bonus points, if you also bring a card telling people what's in it.
