I have a confession…
When couples book with another planner, I feel sad at first but then I feel really happy for them!
But Shelby, why? They didn’t book with you…
No they didn’t… and while I would love to plan all the weddings that come my way, I know that’s an unrealistic goal to have. When a bride books with another planner, I clap for that planner because I know the joy that she/he is experiencing!
It also means that this inquiring couple has found someone that they vibe with and feel comfortable trusting with their big day… and that’s a big deal! I wish the couple all the happiness and send good vibes to whoever they booked!
Because we’re all out here chasing our dreams and I firmly believe there is room for all of us to meet them! Clap for others, support them and that love will surely find its way back to you! 🖤
