Late post, but right on time for Giving Tuesday 2025! I want to highlight a nonprofit close to my heart. If you’re looking for an organization to support with your end-of-year giving, I wholeheartedly recommend the Center for Social Entrepreneurship

A few months ago, I had the privilege of joining the celebration for The Legacy of Bill Cooley: Roast the Icon of Hollandale—honoring his 95th birthday with laughter, stories, and a whole lot of love. 💙

The evening also raised support for the Center for Social Entrepreneurship (CSE), the nonprofit he founded that continues to make a lasting impact in Jackson by growing businesses, harnessing talent, and strengthening communities. 🌱

I was truly humbled that Youngstown Consulting was recognized for our volunteer support. This moment reminded me how giving back is one of the best ways to celebrate life and legacy.

Here’s to 95 years of impact—and to building on that legacy for years to come! 🥂

This week, we had the privilege of attending the Ascent to 55% Convening, where leaders from across Mississippi came together to discuss innovative strategies for increasing educational attainment and workforce participation.

At Youngstown Consulting, our mission is to reduce the stress and ensure the success of individuals and organizations by bridging the gap between education, workforce readiness, and community impact. Being part of this convening reinforced our commitment to helping Mississippians gain the skills, credentials, and confidence needed to thrive in today’s economy.

We’re honored to officially welcome Jackson Leadership Foundation (JLF) as a new client of Youngstown Consulting. JLF is doing powerful work to equip and support local leaders throughout Jackson—and we’re thrilled to support their mission through strategic program support and community engagement!

On Tuesday, September 30, from 11am–1pm at 236 Place, we’re gathering local leaders for a simple meal and a greater purpose: connection, collaboration, and shared vision for our city.

This isn’t just another meeting. It’s a space to listen, learn, and discover the stories God is writing through the work happening all around us.
