What a day so far. Did sections 4,5,&6 today and in the rain! I hit West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. The road is lonely going solo...

Made it to section 3, it was crazy fun, and a bit challenging with 3 deep water crossings. Each one was deeper than the last. I was warned about section 3 by some bikers in Damascus not to cross do to the fast moving high water with all the rain. They had to turn around a skip it. So did I? Well you will have to wait to see... If I back track it was 2 hours long and I had to cross back over two of the water crossings that was deeper than I would have liked. So did I meet the challenge? Did I take a bath?? Did I drown the bike??? Doing this solo is a new experience for me. Tasting Adventure one day at a time!

This week on ADV Gourmet I am still lost in the Lowcountry and am invited to have homemade pizza with a good friend. I travel the SCAR from Edisto Beach up to North, SC for wood fired pizza. This will be the first Sip & Rip North (upstate) 7:30 am to 9:30 am and kick stands up! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Alright the weather looks like it's going to work in our favor so come join us Saturday for the first Palmetto Nomads Sip and Rip! We're meeting at Mountain Mocha in Walhalla SC kickstands up at 9:30am. This is a day ride and the loop is fairly easy (beginner friendly) but really fun.

I'm pretty much packed and ready for 10 days and 2,000+ miles of riding and camping and the Florida Adventure Trail! I plan on camping everyday (no hotels) unless something crazy happens. It should be a fun interesting trip and it's going to put me to the test! I filmed a What I'm packing video today and that will be up on the channel soon.
