We are proud to announce that Scenic City Equestrian Center has been purchased by Damon McCook and Brittany Holmes. Damon has been the owner of Good Citizen K9 for 4 years and has been training dogs for 11 years. Good Citizen K9 is a Dog Training facility in Chattanooga, TN that specializes in dog behavior modification and dog obedience.

Huge congrats to one of our lovely students, Peyton, and her pony Preta!! An excellent dressage score of 36.6%, and a clear jumping round won her a 1st place blue ribbon. So proud of all her hardwork and dedication to her pony and the sport. Thankful for Kayla Rawls for being there to support, when I couldn't be!

We had an incredibly successful 2nd IEA show of the season! Our middle school team came 3rd out of 7 teams, and our High School team 4th out of 7 teams! Our girls are killing it for our first year as a team. I am so beyond proud of them, and the hard work they put in each and every day. More photos I'm sure to come!

An excellent schooling with Laura and her OTTB Finn. These two are one of my favorite pairs... they've worked so hard to create such an awesome partnership and it has been a blast to help and watch them grow. Be on the lookout for this team next show season!!

Scenic City Equestrian had a fantastic show day at Le Bonheur Equestrian this morning! All of our riders and horses had phenomenal rounds, and everyone came home with ribbons and a smile!

While Covid-19 has made everyday life a little... difficult, Scenic City Equestrian's students are making the most of it! Coach Shelby even had a little fun and had a little ba****ck goof-around.
While Covid-19 is scary and is changing our everyday normal, horses and riding are a great way to get out of the house, and still maintain good social distancing.

The cold didn't stop our riders today!! We had so many awesome lessons, working on the famous "Circle of Death." Nancy worked hard with Mowgli today, and will definitely be sore tomorrow! I am proud of Jovie today for working on her two-point over jumps with Sugar! Claire is doing great on Duke and cantered for the first time in awhile! And of course, Anna did awesome after several weeks off. Great riding today!!

Meet our hunter jumper coach, Shelby Campbell!
Shelby has been riding for nearly her entire life, after begging her mom for her first riding lesson on her 5th birthday.
She has experience in all 3 rings, competing on her talented 11 year old thoroughbred, Percy, for the past 6 years, schooling and training under several of the best trainers in the area, including the late Bill Wolfe, and Pan American Medalist Michael Pollard. After several successful years on the hunter and equitation circuit, she decided Percy is much more keen in the show jumping ring.
She enjoys her quiet days on the farm, working with Percy and her newest addition, Mowgli. Shelby has a passion for thoroughbreds, and has put hundreds of hours into training with them.
In addition to showing her own horses, Shelby was also successful on an Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) team during her early high school years, showing through the highest open division. We are excited for her to take on the task of coaching her own team in the upcoming 2020 school year!
Shelby is looking forward to another eventful show season in, and can't wait to get you on her 2020 roster!
