Hiya facebook besties! 👋🏼
I want to apologize for the abandonment. 😏 I know I have been extremely absent on here. I had so many weddings this year and didn’t even get good photos, if any at all from some. It was extremely challenging for me with getting pregnant this wedding season. With that being said, baby Hudson was born on September 15th, and doing great! I am out on “maternity leave” but wanted to stop by and say a few things!! 🥰
I have my last wedding of the year coming up. 😭 I signed this client the end of 2021. I only spoke with the mother of the bride via phone,
up until our vendor meeting yesterday.
Upon my arrival I was greeted by her with a trinket for baby Hudson. 🥹
It’s the little things that keep us small business owners going. This made my entire night. How kind? We love it!!
Thank you Cindy!! 🥰
Let me say this year has been nothing less than crazy for me! Getting pregnant was never part of the grand plan, especially with running a wedding business. But it happened and even when my feet didn’t want to take another step on a 12 hour day, I managed to get it done!!
A huge shout out to my assistant for all of her help, I couldn’t have managed without her!! 🥰
I still have so much guilt for all my fall clients that I had to refund due to the unexpected pregnancy.
I chose to close my books in 2022 when I found out I was expecting and not book any additional weddings.
I also have not opened them for 2023 yet. I wasn’t sure if that would be the right decision but now I know it was. 😊
I think 2023 will be limited in bookings for day of coordinating, if any at all due to having another baby around. I’ve been fortunate enough to stay home with all my babies for the first year and I would like to keep that going.
So this is a heads up that you might not see much of Your Impeccable Day in 2023 but we will be back in FULL swing in 2024.
During that time, I will focus on revamping our website, contracts and social media pages. I will still be booking full service and partial planning clients for 2024. 🥰
