It’s just about time for spring semester to kick off! Just a couple quick updates...

Spring Involvement Fair will be on February 5th from 11am to 1pm in the UC Ballroom. Swing by and say hi or let us know your interest!

Unofficial meetings will be ran from January 28th through February 6th on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the UC Commons area. Feel free to stop by!

Lastly, if you’re running a D&D or Pathfinder campaign with open slots for new people or have plans to run a new one, then plan to come to either an unofficial meeting or our first official one on February 11th so that we can get set up!

Hello, everyone!

Summer is winding down, which means it’s almost time to get back in action, and we at the Games Club are excited to see everyone back! There are just a few important announcements, as well as a brief statement, that need to be addressed!

First off, the Involvement Fair takes place on September 3rd on the UC Mall. We hope everyone will swing by to say hello!

Our first official meeting will be on September 10th! We’ll do brief introductions and go over some expectations before everything starts! More information about the meeting (location, time) will be at both our booth as well as here after the Fair has ended!

We at the Games Club have been pushing extremely hard for more unity between the MTG players and those who play D&D and Pathfinder, as both are two separate entities with no common ground right now. As a hopeful step forward, if you’re interested in joining or starting a campaign, please come to the first meeting! Ideas on how to better tie the two distant halves together will be discussed there, and we want as much input from you all as possible!

We also want to continue reaching out to other games aside from those stated as well, so that our members can choose to break from typical games! We’re still thinking things over, but we’ll update on scheduling as soon as possible. As of this moment, we are considering doing a bimonthly “board game evening”, where Settlers of Catan, Coup, and other classic board games can be brought in. We’d love some feedback on this idea!

Lastly, thank you! It is you, the members (new and old), who tie this community together. We on the board want to start taking more input from those around us, so please reach out to us either via messages, comments, or in person! I will also share my school email with the group when the Involvement Fair gets closer, so that you all can reach out to me!

We can’t wait to see you all back! The board will be doing all we can to promote group unity with your help! Thank you!

We’re only a week away from people moving back to campus, and we’re getting really excited to see all the new faces!

Our meetings are held at the bottom floor of the UC, usually around 6pm each Tuesday and Thursday, though feel free to come earlier and chill by the Pete’s Creek sign!

We don’t have a set date for our first meeting yet, so do stay in touch as we determine a date!

Can’t wait to see you all back on campus. Study hard and play hard!

We have some good news to share with everybody. New officers have been voted into office and they want to re-energize the old Tabletop Games Club. This means my stewardship of this page is coming to an end. (For those who do not know me once upon a time I was the faculty adviser for this little club.)

My last act will be to remove myself from admin privileges. It has been an honor.

To the new folks: have fun and may your die rolls and card draws always be favorable!

Hello everybody! We have elections coming up, so we need nominations for potential officers. Self nominations are welcome. If you would like to run for an officer position, please leave a comment saying what position you would like to run for. You can nominate others, but they will only be put on the ballot if they show agreement. Elections will begin next Tuesday, on May 5, and close later in the week. We will probably hold the election via a poll on this page.
