Today is the day! Hope to see you at River Front Park for Fall Flannel Fest. Bring the kids from 2 to 5 p.m. for face painting, inflatables, a petting zoo and pony rides. Bands start at 5 p.m. with the Mayors Stein Hoisting contest at 7 p.m. The band Radio Gaga starts at 8:30 p.m. Going to be a great day in the Grove!

Be sure you come to the Fall Flannel Fest hungry. Here are some of the tasty food that will be served: The Village of River Grove will have corn on the cob. D’Agostinos will be serving pizza and walking taco’s. Tri Café will have pulled pork sandwiches, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, brats with sauerkraut, Maxwell Street polish, Cajun polish and jumbo hot dogs. The River Grove School PTA will have taffy apples. La Michoacana will have delicious ice creams and Elote. Delicious Treat will be serving up mini pancakes, instant noodles and hot chocolate. On top of all this, the Hello Boba truck will also be there with yummy tastings.
