Design challenge!

Our next floral design challenge is inspired by the upcoming Inside Out sequel, because what better way to portray emotions than through flowers?! For this challenge, we're asking you to dive deep into your emotional palette to design expressive arrangements that capture the essence of an emotion, feeling, or memory. While you may be inspired by the movie's characters Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, you are not limited to them - explore the entire spectrum of feelings and bring them to life through the beauty of flowers!

Whether it's a bouquet bursting with sunny optimism or an arrangement echoing the melancholy beauty of sadness, the possibilities are endless. So gather your floral tools, tap into your feelings, and let it all out in the form of flowers! We can't wait to see the incredible emotional expressions you'll create.

Keep an eye out for your invitation to a milestone exhibition! Opening on July 25, 2024, our 100th anniversary exhibition will offer you a snapshot of what your City's museum has achieved and the future we envision. With it comes a promise to continue thoughtful interpretation for the community we love. While our downtown site remains closed, we are fortunate to be able to hold this exhibition at our partner institution, the Center for Social Justice & Civil Liberties.

"Dear Riverside, a letter to our first love" will feature items dating to our founding a century ago alongside the newest additions, which were commissioned specifically for this exhibition. You'll find significant pieces from history to nature, textiles to botanical specimens, paintings to documents--all collected over the last century from you, our community. Our ""love letter"" to you will examine honestly the ups and downs of a century of changing museum practices, and in return we simply ask you, “How can we do better?”

Going through new photos from The Everlasting Photo of a wedding we did recently in San Clemente and I notice this! This darling little flower girl repurposing her basket as a hat! 😆😆😆 Kids. We are off to Solvang this morning on our first collaboration project of 2024!
One of our goals this year is to create an abundance of magical experiences through our work with this talented team. We plan to be intentional, yet wildly creative!
The overall objective is to collaborate with people who have a mutual desire to cultivate relationships with artistic expression at their core. A community of creatives that offers love, support, and encouragement without judgement. Our intention this year is to expand that community and continue to cultivate the supportive atmosphere we all need to be our best, most authentic selves.

I made this over two years ago, but I lacked the photo editing knowledge to make it a usable print. As you may know white balance can be a little tricky, especially if your entire image is white. But I have actually worked it out now!
