I had the opportunity to leave a mark (literally) on the school. I painted over this tree that fit a different theme and created this piece with school spirit. It took hours and several layers of paint. I hope the students have fun showing school pride. I think it looks amazing! Enjoy the new art Sabertooths!

One thing I loved about photographing Sky is watching HER! She has become her own person. She is fun, elegant, poised and kind. I have photographed her for the last 10+ years. There is something so magical being a photographer sitting on the outside watching the joy and growth of children into adults. I cherish that I am asked to capture them over and over again. Hello there! It’s winter, but I am always looking for sunshine! If it’s not outside I choose to be sunshine and especially wear sunshine colors! I love January! It is a month of refresh and settling into the possibilities of a new year. I love working on new goals. This year I have a goal for each month. Not all of them are art or photography related, but each aspect of who I am helps improve me as an artist. So if you want to join me along on this year of journey it’s going to be fun! I am setting tangible goals for each month. Many are baby steps to a bigger goal. January- finish a quilt, try a new craft, exercise 4x a week. Here we go!
